5 out of 5 starsI took one look at this whimsical Secretarybird, and had to have it. I love to have pictures around me that make me smile. This picture is hilarious! I showed my boyfriend and he said "That is hilarious!" He said he sometimes feels just like that bird is looking! It was carefully wrapped and the cellophane cover for the picture can be composted - wow. I will frame this picture and put it in a place where I see it everyday so I can start my day with a smile and a chuckle.

Playing with cardboard
Hi, my name is Ryoko.
I am the self-taught artist behind RyokoRainbow.
I live in Oakland California with my husband, who is a jazz musician, and two sons.
When my oldest son was about 5, he asked me to draw a dragon.
I drew it on cardboard and cut it out for him to play with it.
He was very happy to have his little new toy.
I made more cardboard animals for him.
I painted animals on my kids' T-shirts.
Some of my neighbors who saw the T-shirts asked me to make one for their kids.
I started taking custom orders for painted T-shirts.
Someone told me it would be so cute to see the animals that I painted put on plates.
I bought lots of plain white plates and mugs and started to paint on them!!
Making greeting cards and art pieces is new to me.
I’ve been trying and enjoying many different styles of illustration.
I just follow my creative instinct.
I am happy when my art brightens someone’s day and makes them smile :)
Thank you for visiting my store♡
