About

Handmade, All The Way!

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! My name is AJ, and I'm a just-starting-out Etsy store owner. I've had my store for many years, tried a few things and it didn't pan out. Being a newcomer is hard, because no one knows if they can trust you.

Well, over the course of those years, I've learned some new things. I first learned to crochet. After my wrist got broken and crocheting seems to make it ache, I took up knitting. Now I do both (I'm a sucker for craft related pain, I guess).

Originally I wanted to be that cool store that made the cool gothic clothing, that all my friends would shop at. However, I realized that my knowledge and my skills were not in sync with each other. I have the know-how, I just lack skill. SO knitting and crocheting take center stage, because I am WAY better at that, than I am at sewing.

Here's a list of what I make:

Hats:
adult: 2 color Hats start at $25. $5 for each additional color. Single color hats start at $15.
baby and child sizes: single colors start at $10. $3 for every additional color

Jackets:
baby sizes only - single color starts at $25. $5 for each additional color

Booties:
baby sizes only - single color starts at $10. $5 for each additional color
- baby jacket+booties+hat sets start at $35 for single color, $10 for each additional color

Slippers:
adult sizes only - single color starts at $20. $5 for each additional color

Shrugs:
adult sizes:
Short sleeve: single color starts at $35. $7 for each additional color
Long Sleeve: single color starts at $45. $7 for each additional color

Shawls
Adult sizes only: Various shapes - single color starts at $50. $10 for each additional color

Blankets:
baby size (36 inches by 52 inches) - single colors start at $50. $10 for each additional color.
throw size (50 inches by 60 inches) - single colors start at $55. $10 for each additional color
pixel blankets (varying shapes sizes and characters) - $100+
Scarves:
various lengths and styles to fit child or adult
- single colors start at $30. Prices will go up with added length.
- 2 color scarves start at $40
*$5 for each additional color, after 2.
ANY color combinations are allowed. Only stripes (vertical or horizontal). NO: Steam Powered Giraffe, Welcome to Nightvale, or Homestuck related names or logos!
I cannot offer full size versions of the Forth Doctor’s scarf, from Doctor Who. I have the ability to make them, but the cost of the yarn alone would be almost $100-$200 or more, depending on fiber, and I’d have to buy all one brand to make sure the size of the stitches stay consistent all throughout or it will not look right. Add labor and that would bring the cost of the item up to $300 or more, depending on which scarf you wanted. (There are several different styles at different widths and lengths and price changes depending on which.)

I CAN make a scaled down version for considerably cheaper. Prices for that start at $50.
Other scarves I can make are Harry Potter house scarves, as well as matching hats.
- scarf, by itself is $40
-hat by itself is $30
-hat and scarf set is $50
Hat+Scarf sets:
Adult - starting price is $40 for single color $10 for each additional color
Child size - starting price is $30 for single color $10 for each additional color

Hats with custom names can be made. NO: Steam Powered Giraffe, Welcome to Nightvale, or Homestuck related names or logos.

Starting price for those are $40.

character count is only limited by person's measurements.

Knitting and crochet are my hobby. I adore doing it. I'm a little hippie, a little goth, a little gypsy. I own one hairless cat. His name is Ryuu. He's my pride and joy. I was diagnosed with POCS in 2008, and can't work. Its why I do what I do.

Welcome To My Store!

A Little Explanation is in order, about the name:

Its the name if the store I own and run with my friend and room mate. Etsy will be a place I sell any altered, reconstruction, custom, ect, items I make. I WILL not be "reselling" any items that are not hand made, or altered in some way. That is my guarantee. I will be sure to add details about the items I sell, and a little about the process in which they were made.

Moving on. I hope you find your browsing time, in my store, a pleasurable experience, and you come back often. If you have any questions about the products I make, please don't hesitate to send me a private message. I'll answer any and all questions (relating to my store, items, or myself) as openly and as honestly as possible.

Thank You for visiting, and I hope you come back soon!

Payment
Please do not commit to buy an item if you do not plan to actually purchase it, within the week.

This means that all payments are due by the Sunday following your commit to buy.

I WILL WORK WITH YOU!!!!

I will list your item as a custom listing and you can buy it at a later time.

Once your listing expires (which takes months), I will relist it and sell to someone else.

I do not ship overseas, as of yet. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Soaps will be shipped via UPS.
Other items can be shipped via USPS.

All shipping will be basic, unless otherwise specified.
If you require an upgrade in shipping, please let me know ahead of time so I can adjust shipping costs.

Additional policies and FAQs
SEWN AND KNITTED BAGS:

If you would like your bags blessed by a Pagan High Priestess, please let me know, in the "note to seller" what type of blessing you would like. This will be done at no extra charge to you, but depending on the blessing, may extend the shipping time frame.

GIVING/RECEIVING FEEDBACK:

I give my feedback once I have received payment from a buyer, or I receive product from a merchant.

Items that have been lost in the mail (meaning YOU didn't lose them, but our great postal service did) I'll give you positive feed back. Its not your fault that the idiots in in the sorting room lost my package.

Negative Feed Back will always be given if:
~I pay for an item and you NEVER ship it.
~It is not what was pictured, or described, in your shop.
~Damage is evident, and wasn't done while being shipped (if its damaged, please make sure to tell those that are buying it. Honesty will get you further than lying!)
~You commit to buy, and do not pay for the item(s) WITHIN the week.
~If you do not contact me, to let me know that payment will be late (I'm willing to work with you, just contact me, and please do it at least 2 days before payment is due. No contact, means no pay, no pay means I have to re-list the item, and I will not be selling to you again.)
~Arguing with me on my own policies, or trying to wiggle your way around them. This is my house, my rules.

I know these are strict rules, but I have been screwed over before, and I am going to take every precaution so that it doesn't happen again. Thank you for your time and patience!
