I bought a curly maple shuttle for my girlfriend as a birthday present. Last night while being moderately tipsy she said that I really should leave a review, as "it is super important to small businesses, maybe even more important than actually buying the produce. and I (her) love this shuttle. Its super smooth, and has really pretty figuring, and works really great with my loom. You can even say my girlfriend told me says that its super smooth, and has really pretty figuring, and works really great with my loom."
So yeah. I can confirm that she loves the shuttle, even while sober. -

About SAORIstyle
Weaving Studio in South Louisiana
Weavin’ Place was created as a result of my life long fascination with textiles and their creation. This fascination ignited a flame which continued to burn over the years, although reduced at times to a flicker, when family and work obligations dominated my days. Space constraints, events associated with everyday life, and a bout with cancer directed my attention elsewhere. I managed to fan the flame with books, magazines, and articles devoted to weaving, color, design, pattern, and structure. The flame endured!!
Now, the kids have families of their own. I have space (albeit, not enough) and have devoted time to learn to weave and refine my craft. The genesis of my “New Age” has begun! I bring to the studio over 25 years of weaving experience, including approximately 8 years of SAORI weaving.
Weavin’ Place – SAORI Style developed as a studio within a studio as a result of my desire to pay it forward. To a great extent weaving and spinning are solitary endeavors. Happily, however, my experience demonstrates that weavers and spinners are warm, caring, expressive folks with strong stewardship responsibilities for these ancient crafts and freely share information and mentor others.

Special shipping may be requested by purchaser at time of purchase but is not guaranteed.
We are happy to ship our SAORI products within the US. For shipments outside of the US, please contact your home country's weaving studio. (Dealers may be found at http://saoriglobal.com/tabid/68/Default.aspx.)
For all product made in our studio or by manufacturers other than SAORI, we will ship internationally and are familiar with applicable customs forms; however, the purchaser is responsible for all VAT or customs fees upon receipt in the destination country. Standard international shipping includes shipping and USA insurance. Packages are sent via USPS. If shipping costs incurred for shipping internationally are greater than those quoted, we will contact you regarding the difference. All packages are insured within the USA... Once a package leaves the USA, we have no control nor accept any responsibility or liability for failed delivery, customs delays, damage or loss. We ship internationally solely at the request of the buyer, who in turn accepts the terms and conditions stated above.
