I believe we were ALL born to create in our own ways, to co-create with our Creator. We just need to “let it out”, as I heard a friend say recently.
My artistic journey started early in life. Family and friends have always encouraged my creative sense and eye for beauty and symbolic meaning and have prodded me toward sharing my work.
Having traveled the world I have seen many inspiring, mind-bending, and spirit-changing things. Every day is filled with colors, shapes, light...little pleasures that bring me to ponder and want to share them some way. I have to say, though, that I find the most beauty and wonder in...YOU, in people, deep down inside where we live. Quirky imperfections that only show in true authenticity are what I really cherish.
Art classes at Bethel College in MN gave me some formal training and since then I’ve been exploring my own style, working consistently since 2003 creating original paintings both for expressions’ sake and for a variety of private collectors. Live painting is a new love; conferences, retreats, weddings.
I have been married for 20 years to the man I love and we have three sons.
