I strive to offer excellent service so please feel free to contact me at any time via the 'Conversation' function if you have any question about my papercuts or your purchases. I will endeavour to respond to you within 24 hours, within reason of evenings and weekends. Please note I have two small children so sometimes its takes me longer to respond depending on my work load at the time.

All items that are handmade are made to order, so they can take up to 2 weeks to make, depending on the ordered and what commissions I’ve already got on my books. If you would like it sooner, please contact me and I will do everything possible to accommodate you. I will also keep you up to date on the progress of your order.

I accept payment by PayPal, Credit and Debit Card and this will also ensure that your purchases are dispatched quickly. Don't forget, even if you do not have an account with PayPal you can still pay by this process with your debit or credit card. No goods will be dispatched until payment is received.

Shipping

Your papercut will be carefully and securely packed to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.

As soon as your item has been posted I will send you a confirmation e-mail.

UK dispatches
Items sent to UK addresses will be posted by Royal Mail first class with proof of posting and should arrive 1-3 business days after dispatch. Packages are insured up to a value of £100 as standard. If you would like your items despatched as special deliveries for next day delivery, or with higher insurance this can be arranged at extra cost to you. Please contact me to discuss before placing you order.

European dispatches
Items sent to European countries will be posted by Royal Mail's Airmail service with proof of posting. Delivery to Western Europe should take approximately 3 working days and Eastern Europe within 5 working days. Higher value European packages can be dispatched using Airsure or International Signed For, depending on the destination country and will require a signature at the destination. This service will be at an extra cost to you and your package should arrive slightly earlier. Please contact me to discuss before placing you order

Dispatches to the rest of the world
Royal Mail quotes delivery to the rest of the world as taking 5 to 7 working days but this is not guaranteed. Due to security restrictions, post to the USA can currently take much longer with some Etsy sellers experiencing delays of up to six weeks.

Standard Royal Mail dispatches are not trackable. Your item can be sent via Airsure at an additional cost to you which will allow you to track your package online. Please contact me to discuss before placing you order.

NOTE: Customers ordering from outside the UK may be subject to import duties, fees and taxes which are levied after the package reaches their country and these are the responsibility of the purchaser. If a package is returned due to a customers refusal to pay such taxes or fees upon delivery, the customer will be responsible for any costs incurred in the package being returned and only the balance of the purchase price will be refunded.

Additional policies and FAQs

To help me to maintain and improve the service, I find it very helpful when my customers leave feedback on the items they've purchased. Etsy provide a process for this and it really is a few moments well spent.

FAQs
Do you offer a commercial license to use your designs to produce products to sell?
Yes I now offer a commercial licence on selected designs, please note that a licence will need to be purchased for each design you would like to use commercially.

What paper and knife do you use to hand cut your designs out?
I use 120gsm paper and a Swann Morton no.3 handle and 10a blades to cut out all my designs.

What cutting machine do you use and what settings do you cut the designs out on?
I use a Silhouette Cameo with low tack cutting mats. I use the Silhouette 'Premium' blades on setting 2, on speed 7, thickness 16.

What pencils do you use to colour your paper cuts?
I use Staedtler 'Ergo Soft' and 'Watercolour' pencils to colour in my paper cuts once they have been cut out.

Do you sell a paper cutting starter kit?
At present no, but if there is enough interest I will produce a kit to get you started.

You sell on the Silhouette Store, why are the same designs more expensive in your Etsy store?
I try my best to keep all prices as low as I can, but unfortunately I don't have any control on the price Silhouette America sell my designs at, but their files on their store are exclusively for Silhouette machines and are imported into their software from which Silhouette customers cut from, by purchasing from my Etsy store you are buying a file in SVG, JPEG and PDF form which can be used on other cutting machines and for handcutting, plus you are helping me to keep going designing for you!!

Why is VAT added to your listings price?
Depending on where you live in the EU, VAT is added to any instant downloadable file, this is out of my hands and handled by Etsy themselves. Any personalised file needs some time to complete and are not effected by the VAT charges.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy shopping at SAS Creative

Looking after the personal information you share with me is very important, and I want you to be confident that your personal data is kept safely and securely and to understand how I use it to offer you a better and more personalised shopping experience.

This privacy notice was last updated on 22nd May 2018.

1. What information I collect when you make an order and why?
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information (though I do not receive details of your card payment order account numbers), and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order, for example), if you contact me directly.

2. Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
• as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
• as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
• Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies (Royal Mail). I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
• Business transfers. If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.
• Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

4. The length of time I need to keep personal information
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 3 years.

5. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the UK and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Apple iCloud as the legal basis for the transfer, as iCloud is Privacy Shield certified. All sessions at iCloud.com are encrypted with TLS 1.2. Any data accessed via iCloud.com is encrypted on server.

6. Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:
• Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
• Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
• Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
