This was my mother's day gift from my son. I love them! They are lovely and also very comfortable.
My Jewelry Journey
My jewelry making story begins long ago. I never set out to become a jewelry artist. Life has a funny way of taking you places you never expect! I was on my way to becoming an Occupational Therapist when I was sidetracked by my love of making jewelry. I was waiting tables while finishing the last of my graduate requirements and selling jewelry at a local flea market to support my bead addiction. An extremely rude customer prompted me to impulsively quit my waitress job and off I went to the boutiques to sell my jewelry. My jewelry was so well received I quickly changed paths and went to school for metalsmithing. I have never looked back. I feel extremely blessed to be able to make a living doing what I love. My husband works along side me, managing all the business aspects.
My designs are detailed, delicate, and feminine. I have developed my own special techniques combining the traditions of metal smithing, bead stringing, knotting, and wirework to create unique jewelry with understated flair.
I am fascinated by gems! I love the history, folklore and myths associated with them. I have included small tidbits of interesting facts about each gem in my listings.
All of my jewelry is made lovingly by my own hands using carefully selected genuine stones and pearls. I use quality metals such as sterling silver, 14k goldfill, 14k gold, bronze and copper. I buy my supplies in small quantities, so all of my jewelry is one of a kind, or limited edition.
I have a degree in Goldsmithing from the Howard Academy of Metal Arts in Stoughton, WI. I also studied Metal Arts at UCLA and Santa Monica College in California. I have been designing jewelry for 16 wonderful years. My designs have been worn by Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, and have been seen on television shows such as NBC's "Hidden Hills" (2002), and on WI news anchor Leigh Mills.

There are few things I love more than making jewelry. I have the most amazing husband, my soul mate and best friend and my two little boys that bring more joy than I ever imagined.
