Hey there! Welcome to Shrugs and Hugs, an Etsy favorite for gifts. I’m Anika - shop owner, card maker, sarcasm aficionado and culinary arts teacher. Every greeting card you’ll find here is designed and curated personally by yours truly. I believe a beautiful card paired with a clever message can take any occasion from casual to epic.

Shrugs and Hugs began in 2011, after a lifelong passion for cards transformed into a blossoming business. I’ve been crafting since childhood and was finally ready to share this love with my community in the form of handmade cards. After taking a brief hiatus to tinker and rebrand for the ideal style, I re-opened via Etsy and took flight.

When I’m not brainstorming my next project, you can find me teaching, cooking, practicing yoga, or listening to audiobooks (which I love to do during the creative process). One of my many favorite things about handmade cards is their ability to inspire unforgettable moments and memories. I’m excited to provide the opportunity for you to share these experiences with the people you hold dearest, too.
