I LOVE my Lacewing! It's just the right size for a small trip around town or a visit with friends. It sits really well, easy to adjust, and I wasn't expecting but love the wide, sturdy straps. This bag is amazingly constructed with obvious care. And the mint color with dark blue trim is bright and cheerful without being over-the-top. Thank you, Chloe! I see a Mantis in my future for sure...

Wow!! I didn't know I could be blown away by a backpack but this turned out absolutely amazing. My bag is a mix between the Wayfarer and The Long Haul. I love it and I've been getting a lot of compliments on it as well since I use the bag for school. The backpack is so comfortable! And because of the way it is built, I don't notice how heavy it is either, which is great since I ride to school almost daily. Also, I really love how waterproof it actually is (not that I was doubting before). Each compartment and pocket is lined with a waterproof fabric that grantees everything will stay dry when you're caught in a rain storm and what have you. Thank you Chloe for such an awesome bag and I can't wait to order another from you in the future!

Siren Bags aims to make high quality products and create good paying jobs.

For most of my years alive, I refused to believe I needed money. I hate corporate greed and production waste and material thinking and things that are cheap and meant to break.

I finally started realizing that I was really very sick of being flat broke and drinking cheap gross beer all the time. I realized how much I love to eat GOOD LOCAL HOMEMADE/ HOMEGROWN food. I love going out and seeing good music and being able to buy their merchandise. In order to change what I hated most about the world, I would have to make money to put money in the hands of the TRUE PEOPLE of the world.

I had a lot of jobs I absolutely hated, I couldn't go through with it. I began looking for ways I could possibly make money on my own.

I learned how to use a sewing machine when I was 12. My father had taught me. I only had unprofessionally made odd clothing for myself up until this point, but, decided I would try to take it to a more professional level.

This is where I am at, 4 years later, I didn't make much money the whole time. I spent most of it learning. Now I make quality bags and I have tons more ideas that I plan on getting into production before the year is over.

I work as a seamstress out of my house, MOSTLY. I don't make enough money to call it my full time job, although, there isn't a day of the week I don't spend time on it. I also work as a nanny.

Ideally, in a couple years, I will be able to hire a few more people like me, or you. It's amazing to me that I have almost created a job for myself, but, the idea of creating jobs for others is something that make my heart jump and gets my ass off the couch and back in the sewing studio.

I am 28 years old, have been sewing since I was twelve. I started making gear because I was traveling and camping, a lot, I never had gear that had the pockets in the right places, or fit me right, plus a strong love for QUALITY products made to last

I do, however, have a few policies just to make things a little clearer, and more organized.

DISCLAIMER: IF YOU ARE VERY ALLERGIC TO DOGS, YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A BAG......I work from home, and, I have a husky and its almost impossible to not get dog hair on EVERYTHING in the house. I try my best to keep the dog hair off the bag, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were one or two in there when it arrives at your place! Sorry!
