The person behind Skara Jewellery is Lizz

After graduating with a degree in fashion design and business from University of Brighton I always thought I would work in clothing. However, a year later I end up working as a Buyer's assistant for a jewellery company on the south coast, and fell in love with the craft. After 6 months on the job, I suddenly had a yearning to get back to creativity, and make things of my own.

Trends and designing have always been a passion of mine, as is affordable quality. I was growing tired of seeing the same jewellery in every high street store and had so many ideas in my head that I began to design my own for the need of creating something original, that makes people notice.

I start by taking the key trends of the season, searching for the right materials and then start designing and sampling. This then leads to a unique design. I only make one-offs as as soon as I've made it - I want to make something different!

All of my jewellery are handmade one-offs, so once they're gone, they're gone. However, if you see a piece that you love but has now been sold, or you would like in another colour, please drop me a message as I would be happy to create something especially for you.

I accept Paypal only. As soon as I receive your payment, it's yours. I will ship the item within 24 hours of receiving your payment.

I accept cancellations within 24 hours of your purchase.

Shipping

I will send your item via Royal Mail first class delivery with confirmation.

I welcome commissions, please drop me a message with your requirements if you would like something custom made. It will take a maximum of 2 weeks for a custom item to be ready to ship, and I will communicate with you regularly on the progress.
