Hoi! Ik ben Stu, de maker achter SN3D Print, waar ik gespecialiseerd ben in 3D-geprinte Lego Technic wandbevestigingen. Mijn winkel is een combinatie van twee dingen waar ik gepassioneerd over ben: Lego en creatieve probleemoplossing door technologie.
Mijn reis
Als levenslange fan van Lego heb ik altijd al een zwak gehad voor de technische genialiteit van Lego Technic. Elke bouw is een uitdaging en een kunstwerk op zich. Maar nadat ik deze ingewikkelde modellen in elkaar had gezet, realiseerde ik me dat ik een manier nodig had om ze tentoon te stellen die paste bij hun creatieve en structurele genialiteit. Ik wilde ze laten zien, maar omdat de ruimte op de planken opraakte, besloot ik om out of the box te denken, letterlijk!
Toen begon ik te experimenteren met mijn 3D-printer. Ik zag een kans om niet alleen mijn eigen displaydilemma op te lossen, maar ook andere Lego-enthousiastelingen te helpen hetzelfde te doen. Gewapend met een 3D-printer en een visie, begon ik 3D CAD-software te leren en begon ik met het ontwerpen van aangepaste muurbeugels om mijn favoriete Lego Technic-modellen te laten zien.
Van hobby tot zakelijk
Wat begon als een persoonlijk project, groeide al snel uit tot iets meer. Ik realiseerde me dat er anderen waren, net als ik, die op zoek waren naar manieren om hun Lego-creaties te tonen. Met aanmoediging van vrienden en medebouwers, lanceerde ik mijn Etsy-winkel om mijn ontwerpen met de community te delen. Nu kan ik mijn liefde voor Lego combineren met mijn passie voor 3D-printen en -ontwerp, en me ook wagen aan andere functionele items voor meer van mijn interesses.

My Journey
As a lifelong fan of Lego, I’ve always been drawn to the engineering brilliance of Lego Technic. Each build is a challenge and an artwork in itself. But after assembling these intricate models, I realised I needed a way to display them that matched their creative and structural genius. I wanted to show them off, but with space running out on shelves, I decided to think outside the box—literally!
That’s when I started experimenting with my 3D Printer. I saw an opportunity to not only solve my own display dilemma but also help other Lego enthusiasts do the same. Armed with a 3D printer and a vision, I began learning 3D CAD software and started designing custom wall mounts to showcase my favourite Lego Technic models.
From Hobby to Business
What started as a personal project quickly turned into something more. I realised there were others, just like me, looking for ways to display their Lego creations. With encouragement from friends and fellow builders, I launched my Etsy shop to share my designs with the community. Now, I get to combine my love for Lego with my passion for 3D printing and design, as well as venturing into other functional items for more interests of mine.
