The Society Of Revisionist Typographers is a small design group, printers and private press based in London and the South Coast. Initially established by Messrs Tom Boulton and Theo Wang having studied typographic design and the distributive trades at the London College of Printing (now London College of Communication).

We specialise in letterpress printing; owning and maintaining several presses and a large collection of lead type, woodblock and vintage picture blocks. All our products are designed, printed and finished by us, in the UK, and our papers and card stocks are either 100% recycled or ecologically responsible FSC regulated. Additionally, we offer a range of commission services: from designing and printing business stationery, event invitations, or promotional items, through to fully bespoke product ranges for stores and retailers.

We’re very proud of the heritage of print in the UK and are keen to show that the principles of late 19th Century skill and craft are just as relevant today. Rather than just preserving it, we aim to keep it alive through practice and application, proving that there is an alternative to the mass-produced, and that beautiful, unique, hand-made products don’t need to be rare and exclusive.
