I had made a custom order from Jill for my own hat which I love, my girlfriend who I previously purchased a hat for said you know what, that looks awesome and I would like one too. I worked with Jill for the colors and she was incredibly patient with my questions and little quirky ideas. I've ordered several items from GeekyChicKnits and have loved every single one of them. This is my latest purchase and although I do not hit the slopes, this hat keeps me so warm and toasty (with enough room that it doesn't ruin my hair haha). I was pleasantly surprised to see gorgeous silver thread in this hat. I had no idea it was a part of the design but it makes the style even better looking. Truly a piece of art for the mind. Literally and figuratively. Her knitting skills are impeccable and it looks so warm and cozy. Will order again!

I met Jill during a Greater Goods Market hosted by R House. I bought “Intarsia Beanie, Navy, Teal, Red, Multi” and “Earwarmer, Green Cable.” What drew me to her soft hats, scarves and ear warmers was the vivid and colorful yarn used and just how soft her items are. My commute to work isn’t too long but with the days getting colder, my face is feeling more comfortable on these bitter mornings. I later purchased another earwarmer and three more hats. After purchasing the first two items I could tell my boyfriend wanted something for himself, so the 2nd earwarmer and a hat are some of his Christmas gifts. I was able to pick them up from Jill from an event in person to avoid paying shipping. Jill is very talented and very willing to work with you for whatever you need.
