When I was a child,
I used to hear the rhytmic sound of the looms on my way to school.
It was a business for some guys and some housewifes used to make
their fringes just like my mother.Some people started visiting our streets to buy
some peshtemals. And then, my interest to peshtemal has improved and
I have decided to be a member of the symphonic orchestra by joining my neighbour Uncle Mehmet. He had 2 looms and we started to make the peshtemals together.
It has been always a relaxing job for me. I really feel as if I am playing an instrument. Later, my sister joined our orchestra. Now we have 3 instruments to play.
And My mom stil makes the fringes.
I would like to thank you to the visitors who comes for peshtemals.
They made the peshtemals know by others.
