My creative outlets don't stop with one craft...

Hello and welcome!

I have been a self taught knitter since my teens and then took a 30 year break from it. During that time, I was a professional seamstress and afterwards, I made Civil War gowns and matching bonnets as well as reenactment garments. When I got to the point that the arthritis in my right arm and shoulder was as such that I no longer sew, I returned to my knitting. During that time I learned to crochet, because when I was younger I couldn't figure out the written patterns. But with the charts that they now have today, it has made it much easier to follow patterns

All of the items in my shop are made off the top of my head, meaning, I use no pattern. I started with patterns but then found them confining to the creative process.

You will also find in this shop other items that are not of the fiber arts. Hence, this shop is the catch all of all my creative endevours. You may find listed an old fashioned 19th century inspired dress, bonnet, hairpiece. etc. Items that don't fit in my other shops.

So take a look around from time to time to see what you may find. You'll never know what I may have listed.
