How It All Started

My love for drawing and creating started at the age of 4. I remember going to my grandparent's house, where I would sit for hours with colored markers and a pad of paper. I would say I get my talent from my grandfather, who hand drew his Christmas cards each year. His ability to capture people's facial expressions with just a stroke of pen is something I continually aspire to master.

In 2011, I started designing wedding invitations for family and friends. In 2014, when we brought an 8 week old Boston Terrier into our home, I realized how much dog lovers (including myself!) love buying stuff for their furry family members, and I founded Sacco Studios.

I wanted to bring my love of dogs along with my passion for design to my business. Whether it's a greeting card or a custom portrait, I create things I would want to buy. My favorite part of running a small business is the joy I get from customers when they receive their order. A lot of times they are ordering a custom portrait in honor of a dog that has passed, and they are so happy to have a piece of art that honors their favorite pooch.

In my spare time, I volunteer with several dog rescues, from photographing dogs available for adoption to designing newsletters and flyers.

I also started a blog, www.saccostudios.com, where I share tips, photographs, fashion and more for the modern dog-lover!

SALE ITEMS:
All sales are final. No exceptions. If an item is damaged upon delivery, please contact lindsay [!at] saccostudios.com immediately. Additional photos may be requested.

CLOTHING AND HATS:
Exchanges will be issued if an item is damaged or flawed. If the item is damaged, you must send me a photo within 7 days of receipt. Upon review, I will send you a replacement within 1-3 business days. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility, and will not be refunded. PLEASE read all descriptions on sizing carefully. If you order the wrong size, I will be happy to exchange it for another size, but a refund will not be given. I do ask that you send the wrong sized shirt back.

NON CUSTOMIZABLE ITEMS, SUCH AS TOTE BAGS, CARDS, STICKERS, AND ART PRINTS:
All sales are final. If an item is damaged upon delivery, please contact lindsay [!at] saccostudios.com immediately. Additional photos may be requested. Exchanges will be issued if an item is damaged or flawed. If the item is damaged, you must send me a photo within 7 days of receipt. CUSTOM PRODUCTS:
Due to the time it takes to design and print custom portraits, refunds will not be given once the final proof has been approved. If you decide to cancel after I put time into your order and have NOT approved the final proof, there will be a fee charged to cover design time, and you will be refunded the rest. ONCE YOU APPROVE THE PROOF AND I PLACE THE ORDER, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. If the item is damaged upon receiving, please email lindsay [!at] saccostudios.com immediately. Additional photos may be requested.

I respond to emails and messages as quickly as possible. If you need a custom order by a certain date, PLEASE let me know IMMEDIATELY after placing the order. If it is the holiday season, it will be more difficult due to the volume of orders, so PLEASE ORDER EARLY!

Also, make sure to keep track of your Etsy messages or emails! I can't be held responsible for sending out something at a date later than you specified because you did not get back to me after I sent proofs and messages. Therefore, if there was a delay in shipment because of non communication on your end and the custom order was already finished, I cannot refund your order.


CANCELING ORDERS (CUSTOM & NON-CUSTOM ITEMS):
You can cancel within 2 hours of ordering, without any penalty. After that, no refunds will be given. Please refer to the SPECIFIC ITEM For return policies.

SHIPPING - CLOTHING

All clothing will be shipped within 1-3 business days of purchase.

All items are shipped securely to avoid damage.

If your item is not delivered within 3-5 days the tracking number estimates, please contact me immediately, either through my Etsy shop in the "Contact Shop Owner" button or email lindsay(at)saccostudios.com, and we will work on the issue.
