I ordered the pink egg shape paper weight. I really like the shape and the size a lot, and the design inside the paper weight. The pink seems more like a mauve to me. Being able to see the colors before ordering would be helpful. Really nice item and I plan to buy another one in a color I like better (hopefully).

Gorgeous item . . . and I'm a long time obsessed collector of blown glass pumpkins. This one is deceptively simple, but special. Very unique from most I have. Fast and very safe shipment. Thank you!

Glass Blowing Studio is Dream Come True

I visited a glass shop when I had just turned 17 - and that's all it took. From that day on I never doubted my future. With the help and guidance of older glass blowers in Sacramento and a mom who supported all my efforts, I kept moving forward with determination to own my own shop. After more than 12 years of work, that dream is now reality.

One of the biggest challenges was building a studio with almost no money. Thankfully, I have good friends and I have some experience in building myself. I was able to create my own tools, furnace, ovens and equipment for a fraction of the usual cost - and with lots of scrounging, labor and commitment. I now love coming to "work" everyday!

I am interested in pushing the envelope of innovation with glass pieces that go beyond "pretty" to interesting and complex. I also enjoy teaching glass blowing classes so I can share the excitement and thrill of this magical and ancient process. I feel so fortunate to express my life in this beautiful way - sand, molten glass, fire and the imagination!

I started blowing glass as a teenager and never looked back. I've studied with some truly great glass blowers and built my own glass shop in Sacramento, CA. I am very enthusiastic about my art and love to teach glass blowing.
