Each urn is made with reverent care and attention to detail to celebrate your loved one. For your convenience urns are listed according to size on the left side of my homepage. Living weight of ashes is the approximate weight at passing. Each lb. of ashes equals one cu. in.
For example 100lbs. = 100cu. in.
I am happy to make a custom order for you. Custom orders usually take 2-6 weeks to complete and have a $75 deposit when ordering. This urn is incredibly beautiful. The craftsmanship is outstanding and so perfect but I can still tell it is handmade from the initials on the bottom and the small bumps on the underside of the lid. It is everything I hoped for. I can tell Susan puts a lot of care into these not only by the quality, but also the immediate and fast shipping and the personal note on the business card. Thank you, Susan. This is incredibly special to me and I am so grateful you’ve given me something so lovely for my brother’s eternal rest. ❤️

I am a passionate Porcelain potter who is continuously inspired by the creative process that is awakened within me when sitting at my wheel!

Sacred Urns is the pinnacle of my work as a ceramic artist. I am reverent and intrigued by our "final transition." It is a privilege for me to create an urn for your loved one. Through the many different ceramic processes I use, each piece has its own individual character which I hope will reflect the uniqueness of the person it is intended to honor. The processes are described in more detail with each corresponding urn. I am also inspired to create symbolic finials on the lids of my urns. The "Lotus Flower" finials represent the making of a sweet and beautiful offering to a loved one. The "Temple Top" symbolize reaching into the heavens or to a higher level. In addition my "Candle Urns" or "Prayer Pots" allow for reflective moments and the possibility of bringing light and intention into the process or ceremony.

I live in Boulder Colorado and spend much of my time creating in my home greenhouse studio. All items listed have been made entirely by me and are complete and ready to ship.
