I've always had an interest in creating. Clear back to childhood, I remember wanting to make gifts that were special due to personalized touches.

Back in 2007 I was happily selling real estate and had an idea to make my closing gifts- and personalize them. A few other agents saw them, wanted to order them and Said In Stone was born!

Real estate tanked, but Said In Stone sales picked up and I never looked back! This has become my life. To me, there is nothing better than knowing that someone has a totally special, personalized gift. Whether it's for a wedding or a baby's birth or just helping in creating wonderful memories for a 30th birthday bash. I wouldn't trade it!

Decal FAQ's
Q: Why are there two quantity drop down tabs in some listings?
A: I understand this is a little confusing. This is the only way to offer unlimited quantities without ETSY wanting to charge shipping for each decal (which would add up fast!). Because they are light only one shipping fee needs to be charged.

Q: What is the correct way to order while using two quantity drop down tabs?
A: To order the amount of decals you need you'll need to utilize both quantity drop down tabs. To do this, select "1" in the first drop down and then the amount you need in the second. This will put one set of the amount you need into your cart. For example if you need decals for 10 glasses you'd select 1 and then 10. This will add 1 set of 10 decals to your cart.

Q: How do I let you know what I'd like my decals to say?
A: Once you begin the checkout process, there will be a notes to seller box for you to type in the details for your order.

Q: Will a proof be sent prior to shipping?
A: I'm sorry but I do not send digital proofs for existing layouts just to show the design with your names/information. The program used to create proofs is not the same program used to create the final product. Creating proofs is basically doing all the work twice. In order to keep my processing times flowing quickly and my pricing as low as possible I cannot offer this as a service.

Q: I'd like to order a completely custom item. How do I go about this?
A: If you have an idea for something you'd like but don't see I'm happy to work with you to create what you envision. You will receive up to 3 sample proofs to select from which will be included in the price. Any additional formatting changes will be at a rate of $5/request. Formatting takes quite a bit of time, however it's not typical to need more than the 3 included samples to design what you'd like.

Q: How long will it take to process my order:
A: My processing time is 7-10* business days prior to shipping. I work to get your order processed just as quickly as possible so it doesn't always take the full stated time but depending on order volume it can. If you need your order faster than that, please add the "Rush Processing" listing to your cart at checkout and your order will be processed within either 3 or 5 business days- you choose. (Link is provided in the listings). PLEASE NOTE that I do not accept rush orders on Personalized Ornaments or signs.
* Please note that during high volume ordering seasons such as Christmas and wedding season processing times will vary. Please read the note from me on your order receipt for the the most up to date processing times.

Q: Will there be tracking provided upon shipping?
A: Yes- once shipped, you will receive an email from ETSY with the shipping and tracking information. Please note that it can take 24-48 hours for the tracking scans to be updated in the system.

Q: What if my item gets lost or delayed and my event date is missed?
A: Please order within plenty of time to receive your order. While USPS is generally very reliable on occasion things do get lost and/or delayed. Once shipped you will receive an email from Etsy with all the shipping and tracking information. Please check on your package periodically after you receive the shipping notification and alert me right away if you feel it is taking longer than is typical to arrive. I offer standard (typically 3-6 business days of transit time AFTER shipping however USPS does NOT guaranty this time frame, it's a general guideline), regular priority (typically 2-3 business days of transit time AFTER shipping however USPS does NOT guaranty this time frame, it's a general guideline), and Express 2 day ( IS guaranteed by USPS to reach you within 2 business days of shipment. If they fail to deliver within this time frame, they will refund the SHIPPING PORTION only- not the item's value). Please select the shipping type you feel will be the best to reach you in the time frame needed. I cannot refund based on missed event dates. Please make sure to select the correct shipping transit time based on your even date (and give yourself a little wiggle room just in case something goes wrong with USPS during shipping).

Q: Can I return them if I change my mind?
A: Unfortunately, because these are completely personalized and custom they cannot be returned. All sales on custom work will is final. Unless an error was made by me (miss-spellings, etc) I cannot refund. Custom items will be made as shown in the listing. If you want any changes, please make it VERY clear in the notes to seller at checkout- otherwise, name order, etc will be as shown in the listing.

Q: Are the decals easy to apply?
A: These come with complete instructions and go on kind of like rub on transfers. For tutorials on how to apply them you can visit my youtube channel here:

Q: Can my completed glasses/cups go into the dishwasher?
A: I recommend hand washing only. While I do use high end, commercial vinyl that is graded for outside signage, it's not been designed to have super hot water blasted at it and may not hold up depending on water temperature/pressure.

Q: Can you change my shipping address after the order is placed?
A: PLEASE make sure your address is correct at the time of your order. Orders will be shipped to the address provided on the order. On occasion I may be able to adjust the address for you, but it is not a guaranteed service and I will not refund based on incorrect shipping address provided. Please make sure it is correct prior to ordering.

Additional information:
Please note vinyl only comes in single colors. If the style you are ordering has more than one color, there will be a separate decal for each color. For example if the style shows the name, title and date in black with a purple dress, the text will all be one decal and the dress will be another separate decal.

Because this is a DIY project and I don't have any control over the glasses/cups/hangers you are selecting all orders are at your own risk. I cannot issue refunds on items due to application error.

Your order may vary slightly from pictured item, however, I try to make them as exact as I can. Item will be shipped once payment (Through Paypal or Direct Checkout) has been made. Items sold with payments not received within 48 hours of purchase will be canceled. Please convo me if there is a PayPal, or payment issue so I can help you with the process to ensure a smooth, timely transaction and receipt of item purchased.

Please note that upgrading your shipping only applies to shipping transit time once shipped and will not change the processing time for your order. Priority is typically 2-3 days once shipped, however the ONLY transit time USPS guarantees is Express 2 day. Processing times will still align with my current stated turn around times. Address Changes:
PLEASE make sure your address is correct at the time of your order. Orders will be shipped to the address provided on the order. On occasion I may be able to adjust the address for you, but it is not a guaranteed service and I will not refund based on incorrect shipping address provided. Please make sure it is correct prior to ordering.


PLEASE NOTE! International order transit times once shipped can take anywhere from 10 business days to 6-8+weeks. If you are ordering something for a wedding or something that is needed for a specific date please make sure you have enough time for them to arrive. I recommend allowing 2-3 months for international orders to allow enough time for processing and shipping prior to the date needed. It's not typical for it to take that long but on occasion it can. Refunds will not be given due to shipping transit times as once shipped I cannot control how long it takes orders to arrive. Items do sometimes get stuck in customs. Also, any monies due at the time of delivery are the buyers responsibility as those are fees/taxes being charged to you by your country and have nothing to do with the purchase of the item.

Refunds and Exchanges
I take great care when wrapping products to ensure safe arrival,however if an item breaks during shipping, I will replace it for you-all I ask is that you email me a picture of the broken item. I must be contacted within 3 days of delivery with pictures of any damage to provide a refund. If there are any errors on my end, I must be notified within 5 days of delivery ( spelling errors, etc.). In the event that an error has been made, I will absolutely send you a replacement but I will not overnight/express ship if I have not been notified in a timely manor (ex. a missing or mis-spelled item discovered 3 days prior to the wedding when decals were delivered a month ago) of the mistake. PLEASE check your orders when you get them. It's rare for mistakes to occur but I am human on on occasion it will happen.

I ship to the address provided in the order only. If your address has changed, please make sure you provide the correct address in both Etsy and PayPal if PayPal was used for payment. If they differ, the PayPal address will be used. I try very hard to catch it if the addresses don't match, but I cannot be held liable for incorrect addresses provided.

Order cancellations must be requested within 3 business days of purchase. Because Items are custom and personalized, once I start on them I will not cancel the order. PLEASE read current processing times prior to ordering to ensure you have enough time to receive your order.
