If you love what you do, not much else seems to matter! I started making soap in 2013 and fell in love with it. I had been buying and using handmade soaps for a long time; this inspired me to try soap making out for myself. I've always wanted to be a "mad scientist", this has appeased that childhood fancy! My first few batches tested my patience, but with a little research and the right tools, I began creating the products that you see in my shop today.

I love experimenting with different textures and scents in my soaps. I've learned so much about different botanicals, essential oils, and processes used in soap making. I've also started to extend my product line to body butters, creams, lip balms, and perfumes. Every thing I mix up is an adventure! One of my favorite parts of this job is "testing" and smelling each of my new creations!

On a more personal note, I have a lot more on my plate than my business. I am the proud mother of three boys (one of my own and two step children), have a wonderful, patient husband (read "tolerant soap tester"). We live in the northernmost corner of the state of Maine with our crazy boys and two cats.

DO WHAT YOU LOVE! Follow your dreams! I hear so many people say that they wish that they could do something like what I do, DO IT! I really feel like we set out own limitations and boundaries, it's SO important to TRY! Set little goals, pour your heart into it, and have fun.
