Sally's Backyard Home is my online shop featuring Vintage Home Accessories and Decor

I grew up in a family of collectors. They taught me an appreciation of glassware, fine porcelain, pottery and collectibles. Opening Sally's Backyard Home seemed a natural progression.

My husband, Steven, has his own Etsy shop and we treasure hunt as a team, but we each run our shops so they reflect our individual personalities. I sell what I love--period.

I enjoy the thrill of the hunt, doing historical research, photographing each piece, writing every listing and providing excellent customer service. I offer vintage home accessories and decor spanning the decades from the 1930's through the early 1990's.

I'm not an expert, but an enthusiast. I strive to bring my customers quality pieces to enjoy for years to come.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns
Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
I don't accept exchanges or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
All of the items I sell are vintage and are sold "as is". I do my best to accurately describe the item and the condition of each. If you are uncertain of any item, please contact me and I will provide any additional information I can.

All items are carefully examined before listing & again before they are packaged.

I do accept returns. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please contact me within 24 hours of receiving the item. If returning an item, the item must be returned with Delivery Confirmation and Tracking. I will refund your money as soon as I receive the returned item. Return shipping is at your expense.

**Please Note: If your item is damaged by USPS during shipping, you will need to send me photos of the damaged item and shipping box so I can file an insurance claim with the post office. Once I receive the photos from you, I will issue your refund.**
Payment
I accept all major credit cards, PayPal and Etsy gift cards. Payment must be made in full and have cleared before the item is shipped. Before making a purchase, please make sure your address is listed correctly with Etsy.
Shipping
I only ship within the United States. I ship all items USPS with Delivery Confirmation and Tracking. Any item $100 or more will be shipped with Signature Confirmation, meaning you will have to sign for the item upon delivery. Items will be shipped within one to two business days of payment confirmation. I ship smaller items USPS First Class. Larger items will be shipped USPS Standard or Priority (whichever is more cost effective).

My items are packaged with care so they arrive safely and undamaged. If the item does incur damage during shipping, please contact me within 24 hours of your receiving the item. I will do my best to resolve the situation on a case by case basis.

If my shipping estimate exceeds the actual shipping price by more than $1.00, I will refund the difference to you via PayPal.

I only ship Monday- Friday.

*I use recycled packaging materials whenever possible.*
