Mean little shirts for women who are done being nice
Indossala in terapia.
— Sale e rancore
I started Salt & Spite because I was tired of soft pink fonts telling me to "rise and shine."
I don't rise. I don't shine. I get up, I put on a shirt, and I go be annoyed in public — and I wanted a shirt that said so.
For years I scrolled through "funny" women's tees and found the same thing on repeat: glittery "boss babe," cursive "but first, coffee," rainbow "good vibes only." Nothing for the girl who used up her patience by 9 a.m. Nothing that sounded like the things I actually mutter under my breath.
So I made it myself.
Salt & Spite is for the woman who answers "how are you?" with "tired" and means it. The one who's done pretending she has it together. The one who's not mad — she's just like this now.
Every shirt is a small, mean sentence printed in a font your mother would hate. No empowerment quotes. No healing journey. No "live, laugh, love." Just the line you've been thinking all week, now wearable.
Wear it to work. Wear it to therapy. Wear it to the wedding of someone who peaked in high school.
Each piece is designed by me and printed to order on soft, well-fitting cotton tees. Made for women who like their humor dry and their shirts oversized.
Thanks for being here. Now go ruin somebody's day.
