Your items may arrive on a pallet, crated, boxed, Blanket wrapped or in some cases, minor assembly may be required. White glove or blanket wrap deliveries will be carried to the ground floor of your home or to your doorstep if it is an apartments with elevator. If there isn’t an elevator then the buyer will be responsible for carrying the piece from the ground floor. Smaller items will be boxed and delivered via FedEx or other shipping companies. All deliveries require an adult present at the time of delivery to sign off.
Damaged/Lost/Stolen Items During Transit
Salvage Made Chic is not responsible for any damage, lost or stolen items that may occur during transit.
If your item is lost or damaged during transit, it is the buyer's sole responsibility to carry out the claims process with the shipping company. Salvage Made Chic will provide you with the necessary information to file your claim and assist in the process as needed.
Salvage Made Chic ships furniture using third party independent shipping companies, all of which are responsible for the furniture once it has left the shop. We ask that you do not leave neutral or negative feedback for errors or mishaps that occur during transit as these unfortunate situations are the responsibility of the shipping company.
Care Instructions will be sent along with your newly refinished piece. Please read and adhere to care instruction guidelines.
Care and maintenance for purchased pieces are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We are not liable for any repairs or responsible to fix cosmetic or other issues that may arise once the furniture has left our shop.
