Welcome to SalvagedLight, a small but growing shop specializing in handmade metal décor, steel wall art, and refurbished lighting. This shop began with a simple idea: beautiful materials deserve a second life. As a luminaire engineer with years of experience in product design and fabrication, I started SalvagedLight as a personal project, restoring vintage light fixtures and experimenting with custom metal designs after hours.

Today, the shop is still modest in size, but it’s evolving into a place where modern metal art, coastal-inspired décor, and select handmade lighting pieces come together. Each metal outline begins as a sketch inspired by coastal shapes, clean geometry, and the natural character of steel. Designs are modeled digitally and cut from durable, eco-friendly materials, creating décor that is both minimalist and expressive — perfect for homes, cabins, beach houses, studios, and gift-giving.

While SalvagedLight currently offers a curated collection of metal wall art and refurbished fixtures, the long-term vision is much bigger:
A dedicated custom design and fabrication section, where customers can order custom metal signs, custom lighting fixtures, architectural accents, and unique decorative elements tailored to their space. With a background in engineering and lighting design, I bring precision, craftsmanship, and longevity to every piece.

For now, you’ll find a small but expanding line of metal fish outlines, coastal wall décor, seasonal metal pieces, and select restored lights — each made with intention, durability, and a genuine love for materials that last.
