Was brand new and real one teaspoon. sadly they don't fit like the true one teaspoon bandits. The legs are a lot smaller

About

Samarascapades - Keeping necks and heads warm since 2005

My mom taught me how to knit when I was a little girl, but my first scarf came out so twisted I had to turn it into a door stop which I decorated as a snake. I have always loved crafts, even though I was banned from the craft table in 1st grade for not cleaning up after my mess. Clearly showing I have always been more interested in the creation process over the clean up process.

In 2004, I started a knitwear company with my dear friend from childhood. We hand crafted unique clothing pieces and sold them at boutiques in NYC and New England. Since then our alternate careers have taken off making knitting and crocheting more of a hobby and pastime.

Now with 12+ years experince playing with needles and yarn, I enjoy creating new items for my shop. My focus is on durability, warmth and timeless designs. I have also introduced my summer jewelry line, which is reminiscent of the friendship bracelets I used to make at summer camp (but with a lot more style).

Macrame is new to my store but I have wanted to play in this arena for years. Years ago, I came across a book from the 70's that my mom had on macrame knots and plant hanger patterns. The book is long gone but the ideas remain. I'm now creating modern versions of the trend. Wall hangings to come soon!

I am happy to consider custom requests. Many items are inspired by friend's requests which I am now sharing on my site and have named after them. Feel free to message me to discuss different styles and colors! International shipping can also be arranged and will be handled on a case by case basis.

I hope you enjoy my shop and feel free to share with the world!
