Welcome and thank you for visiting my shop! I want to make it as easy and satisfying as possible for you to view and purchase my work on Etsy. Buying jewelry is very personal and I understand how difficult it can be to purchase something of value online without seeing it in person. So please contact me if you would like any additional information about a piece. I welcome the opportunity to communicate with you! I'm sure you will be pleased with your purchase.
I accept PayPal payments, credit cards, and Etsy gift cards.
Reserved Orders: I'm happy to reserve a listing for you but payment must be received within 3 days of intent to purchase, or 3 days after a new shipping fee has been determined at the post office, or the reserve will be removed.
Installment Payment is available: I offer the option of paying for your purchase in 2 installments. Please contact me if you would like this option. Half of the purchase price + shipping is due first, and the remaining half can be paid up to 30 days later, after which your purchase will be shipped. **Please choose this option carefully as your initial payment is not refundable after the first 7 days.**
I SHIP FROM SAN DIEGO WITHIN THE US AND INTERNATIONALLY.
I SHIP MOST ITEMS IN A SMALL FLAT RATE PRIORITY MAIL BOX UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. Small items will be sent in a small padded envelope.
I will combine items for cheaper shipping, but if you are purchasing more than one large item (some of my necklaces are quite large), they won't fit in a small flat rate priority mail box. Contact me first and we can decide how to proceed.
I usually go to the US post office once a week (I'm a bit disabled), sometimes twice if I have several orders. All shipments will be sent via United States Postal Service (USPS). Unless otherwise requested, I ship most items in a small Flat Rate Priority Mail box in the US and abroad for most necklaces (automatically includes tracking number and $50 insurance now) or First Class mail for smaller pieces like earrings, a bracelet, or a small thing on a chain for which tracking costs extra.
INSURANCE: I don't insure items unless requested or it’s noted on the listing. The additional cost of insurance is paid by the buyer before the item is shipped - notify me before you purchase if you want insurance and I’ll let you know the cost. I would recommend insurance on pieces around $100 and more. I CANNOT be responsible for damaged or lost goods if you have not purchased insurance.
DAMAGED AND LOST GOODS: I wrap everything well, and am not responsible for goods once a package enters the postal system, especially international shipping. Priority Mail in the US allows us to track shipments so if something is lost or broken, I'll provide any tracking information, dates or address information needed.
If not small box flat rate Priority Mail, I try to ESTIMATE USPS fees for first class mail but there are many variables (weight, size, distance, packing materials, etc.) If I overestimate the fee by more than $3, I will issue a partial refund. If I underestimate the fee, I will send you a PayPal invoice for the additional cost which I expect you to pay upon receipt.
***INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING NOTICE*** USPS Priority Mail includes a tracking number and $50 insurance but it's more expensive. First Class Mail is cheaper but it won't have a tracking # or insurance so I CANNOT be responsible for late or missed deliveries or damaged goods! Just let me know which method you prefer, and I will provide an estimate. IMPORTANT: If you want First Class Mail, I must go to the post office with the unsealed package first to determine the shipping fee, so please be reasonably serious about buying the item(s). I will then notify you of the fee. If you decide to purchase, then I will add your specific location (if needed) and the new shipping fee to the listing.
Refunds and Exchanges
It is important to me that you are happy with your purchase. If for some reason you feel the piece has been misrepresented, please contact me within the first 3 days of receiving your package, before you do any feedback. If your reason is valid, I will refund you the amount that you have paid minus a $5 restocking fee on items over $25 and the shipping fee. You are responsible for the cost of your return shipment. You must return the order in the same condition as received. Once I receive the order, I will send you a refund.
**There are NO returns on SALE items from the 40% discount SALE SECTION.**
If something is on sale with a 10% or 20% coupon code discount, we may be able to work out an exchange for something of equal or greater value. Contact me for details.
Additional Policies and FAQs
As all my work is one-of-a-kind, I never reproduce a piece exactly the same. It is not usually possible to make changes to a piece. Depending on the design, I can sometimes make a necklace or bracelet shorter. Occasionally, if I still have the same or similar beads, I can make a piece longer. Sometimes an extender can be added to certain types of clasps to make it longer. A small fee may apply. Please contact me with any questions about changes.
If you have an interesting component or a design idea that you would like made into a necklace, contact me with the information and a photo, and perhaps I can design something special for you. A downpayment is required in advance.
Positive feedback (now called Reviews) on items received is greatly appreciated! This is important to me and other buyers who like to know what to expect. To leave a review, go to "your account" upper right, scroll down to "purchases and reviews", find the order, click on the fifth star, and leave a comment or two. I really appreciate positive reviews.
