“My playful paintings provide the viewer a moment to be immersed in an underlying sense of calm and wonder. These non-traditional perspectives are like looking through a morning dew drop, depicting movement and space found in flight, searching for a worm, or nesting.

My evolving images provide the viewer a peaceful escape as experienced during my creative process. I create with techniques that provide unexpeted effects from my imagination. I work intuitively with either a wet into wet oil paints, applying textured acrylics with a palette knife on canvas, or loose ink line drawings on paper or with vector images.

My images symbolize the hope, wisdom, loyalty and love that bird's embody with my swooping brush marks, playful perspectives or relief sculptures. Using my experience as a textile designer and instructor, I design these tilted composition of architectural and nature scenes perched in my 2nd story Richardson, TX art studio, where my scout inspires me every day."
