Engaging the brain!

Sometimes you don't even know you're good at something until you accidentally stumble across it.

This is how I came into everything I've done. The creative part of my brain sees something interesting, then I actually do a little research. If it's something that I find interesting to where I think "I bet I could make that" - then my brain grabs hold and runs with it. If I do one thing too long, I will burn out on it, so I try to rotate my crafts around to different things. I make jewelry, paint watercolors, crochet, sew, and probably a good many other things I've just not discovered yet.

Everything I make starts with base items I need to purchase - stones, metal wires and the link. The only time I will purchase fully fabricated components would be for sewing - things like buttons, ties, cords, etc. that I can't possibly make. In turn, I use all those components to create something. NOTHING in my store is something I flat out purchased elsewhere to re-sell here. My two hands compile and make all my items.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
"I changed my mind" - Send me a convo through Etsy:

(1) Notify me immediately after purchase and before I send out the item and receive a full refund or exchange your choice with a different item of equal value. I will also refund the shipping fee since the item had not shipped yet.

(2) Notify me within 3 U.S. business days after receiving your purchase (based on tracking delivery date) so we can discuss your options. You can elect to choose one or more items of equal or lesser item value in exchange (not including shipping) of the original purchase, or a refund of the item cost (no refunds on shipping). If you are exchanging, you must pay for shipping of the new items. They will ship out upon receipt of the original item in undamaged condition. You must ship back the original item within 5 U.S. business days and provide me a tracking number.

Shipping damage - Notify me within 3 U.S. business days of receiving your order if you have any issues with shipping damage.
For jewelry items only - I may be able to repair limited damage that was done in shipping. Shipping costs to get the item to me for examination will be covered by you. Minor repairs I will do at no cost (I determine if it's a minor repair which would require minimal materials or time of less than an hour's work).
If shipping damage was extensive and beyond repair, you will want to put in a claim on the insurance (if you requested it be insured).
If you did not insure the item, I am not responsible for item damage after it leaves my hands.
Payment is expected at the time of purchase, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon between me and the purchaser. I have no particular preference if you pay through PayPal or Etsy.

If an item is purchased and payment is not made or no other arrangements have been made within 3 days, I will cancel the transaction/sale, and re-list the item.
Purchases are shipped out within three (3) U.S. business days after payment for the item has been made. The method of shipping will generally be USPS first class, with an occasional priority mail item in the mix for larger shipments.

International customers, do not request that I misrepresent the product or the price on the customs form.
Additional policies and FAQs
The additional items below are related to the Jewelry pieces which may have issues after the person receives them and may find they need repair for something that has happened to the item after they've received it and it's past the returns and exchanges phase.

Accidental damage - if once you receive your jewelry item and something unexpected happened that damaged the item, send me a convo and we can discuss if I'm able to repair it. Accidents happen. Shipping costs to get the item to me, and back to you, will be covered by you. Some minor repairs I can do for free. Extensive repairs I will need to charge based on the damage. I will convo a quote to you and if you accept it, you can ship the item to me.

Damage from neglect - everything has its limits. If you let a child get hold of your jewelry, swinging around your pendant that has a semi-precious stone in it and wonder why the stone got cracked, that is an example of a type of damage I will not repair. Allowing your pendant to sit in puddles of water next to your sink wondering why it doesn't look like it did when you first got it, I will not repair. Willful negligence does NOT fall under any repair, exchange or refund category I have. I will not refund or exchange damage from negligence and neglect.
