All items in the shop are vintage (20+ years old) and have been pre-owned and loved. As such, all sales are considered final. However, returns for store credit may be possible on a case-by-case basis by following the guidelines below:

Contact me: within 3 business days of receipt
Ship item back: within 7 days of initial delivery with tracking

Items must be unworn, unwashed and in original condition when received. Store credit will be refunded for the purchase price only. Once the 3 day time window has passed, returns of any kind will not be accepted.

**A kind reminder that returns are for store credit of the purchase price only, shipping charges are nonrefundable. Returns must be shipped with tracking, within 7 days of initial delivery after you have contacted me.

| ITEMS NOT FOR RETURN |

Because of the nature and age of vintage items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I cannot accept store credit returns for:

· Garment fit (please see "Additional policies and FAQs" for help with sizing)
· Color discrepancies (computer monitor screens may show variances in color)
· Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
· Items on sale or clearance
· Items from the 1930s or earlier
· Items that have already been exchanged

Please contact me if you have any questions about an item or would like additional photos. I respond to all inquiries within a 36 hr. time frame.

Payment is accepted via PayPal or Etsy Direct Checkout via credit card.

| ITEM RESERVATION |

Please contact me if you would like to reserve an item. Items may be reserved for 24 hours without a deposit.

Items are shipped within 1-3 business days using USPS Domestic (USA) Priority or first class mail or international first class. I will notify you when your item ships and include package tracking through Etsy.

Please notify me if you would like to add insurance, so that you are covered in case of loss or damage, and I will adjust your shipping costs accordingly.

please note: lost packages are not the responsibility of Sarah Kates. All packages are shipped with tracking and customs declarations.

| INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS |

Buyers are responsible for any customs, import taxes, or brokerage fees incurred or that may apply. Sarah Kates is not responsible for parcels lost due to non payment of customs fees and will not mark International shipments as a gift.

| GARMENT CARE|

Each and every in the shop is carefully hand laundered or dry cleaned before it is listed. I take care to inspect and repair each item. Pieces with any noticeable flaws will be noted in the listing. All items are stored in a clean, smoke & pet free environment.

| SIZING |

Please refer to measurements for sizing. All size estimations are provided as a courtesy.

All items are sold as described or as is condition. All items in the shop are vintage (20+ years old) and have been pre-owned and therefore may not be free of flaws. I will always indicate any noticeable major flaws or blemishes, but will not always mention very small flaws. Please read and view the description and photos carefully before purchase.

To ensure that your item is well suited for you, measure something of yours that fits you well and compare it with the measurements in each listing. If you are unsure and have a question about the size or appearance of an item, please contact me and I will happily send you more pictures or take additional measurements.
