Ordered this october 26 2012 STILL have not got it and cant get ahold of the owner at all and she has left a automatic message now saying she wont open shop till early fall of 2013 so it may be almost a year before i do get it and have paid for it already. Not happy at all with any of this.

This item was not scheduled to ship until late January (about 2 weeks after this review was written), which was discussed with the buyer before she ordered. My announcement stated that I was closed due to a rough pregnancy, but orders already placed would be shipped ASAP. Once I heard she was unhappy with the ship date originally agreed upon, we cancelled the transaction and I gave a full refund. The review before this one is from the same buyer. In that case, it was shipped about 1.5 weeks later than originally scheduled (not 3) due to pregnancy complications. This was a one time occurrence due to extreme illness which I take full responsibility for, and which will not be a problem going forward.

Cant ever get ahold of her just keep getting automative messages finally got this name sign from her months (3) later not six weeks as stated i would. Had to keep on about it till I finally just got it in the mail with still no reply for her personally.

Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of their creation. Please send an e-mail to SarasHandmades [!at] ymail.com and include your order information.
Shipments are made via either the USPS or FedEx Ground as soon as your order has been completed. A tracking number will be added to your purchase information here on Etsy once your order ships. Contact me if you would like to use expedited shipping.
International customers should be aware that there may be additional fees and import duties assessed by your local customs office. This is a tax charged by your government and is the responsibility of the buyer. Due to the fact that customs fees are extremely complicated and can vary greatly from country to country, the best way to estimate these is to contact your local customs office.
Buyers outside of the US should also be aware that there is a chance that customs will stop a package and inspect it. Movement through customs can be anywhere from a day to a month, and occasionally can be even more than that. Unfortunately there is no way to predict when or if there will be a delay. If you need your sign delivered by a certain date, order as soon as possible, and contact me about upgrading to shipping with a guaranteed delivery date.
Refunds and Exchanges
The entire shipping price will always be refunded with a cancellation as long as an item has not shipped.
Framed print collage signs can be returned in the condition they were shipped in. The purchase price will be refunded less the cost of the prints and original shipping. If a custom frame order was placed, the refund will be reduced to cover my costs associated with the custom order on a case by case basis.
Unfortunately, refunds can not be made on completed hand painted items. However, if there is a problem with your order, please let me know how I can help so we can find a satisfactory solution! I want you to love your item(s)!
Any item purchased which is marked READY TO SHIP may be returned for a full refund within 7 days of delivery unless otherwise stated in the description of the item. Please contact me for return instructions. Buyer pays return shipping, and original shipping will not be refunded.
Additional policies and FAQs
Framed print signs can also be mailed to you as prints only if you want to use your own frame, or as digital downloads if you'd like to print them yourself. Contact me if you'd like any changes to your prints, such as custom colors!
Please note that due to differences in monitors and computer settings, colors may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.
Longer hand painted signs (typically 7 letters and up) will be made on 2 background pieces. The pieces will be attached by hinges and the seam will be hidden beneath a letter. This is done to save on shipping and for easier storage. For a hand painted sign being shipped outside the US, 6 letter signs will also be made like this to keep package sizes small enough for a lower cost shipping option.
The hanging shapes on the hand painted signs in my shop are not currently available for purchase individually.
I reserve the right to photograph any items created and display them for others to view as examples before purchasing their own custom item. If you would not like your item photographed and displayed, please let me know when making your purchase or as soon as possible after.
