Sassy Party Designs sells "printables," which means we provide an electronic, customized file via email, that you then have printed. With the electronic file – you can print as many copies as you need. Many of my products are customized with your custom information. Once I receive your information (if not provided with your order), I’ll create the order and send you the custom file(s) within 3 business days. Other files are “instant download”. Those files are customized by YOU the buyer, if needed, and printed. Those files are available for download within minutes of your purchase.
HOW DO I PROVIDE MY CUSTOM INFORMATION?
When you order a custom item, you give me your information for the item in the "note to seller" section. Or, you can email it to me or put it in a convo. Please note that all wording on invitations is customizable – we love the creativity of our buyers and are happy to accommodate a different intro poem.
DO YOU SEND A PROOF?
Once we get your information, I'll create your file and then email it to you. Since the finished product is the same thing I would send as a proof, I don't do a "proofing round." Of course, if you see anything that needs to be changed, I'll make it right for you.
WHAT IS YOUR LEAD-TIME?
The standard lead-time is 3 business days. I certainly try to accommodate rush orders when I can, which are handled on a case-by-case basis. I am a working mom so sometimes it’s just not possible to get the order faster. If you need your order faster than the standard lead-time, please contact me directly BEFORE you purchase. Convo is the best way to contact me.
PDFS, JPEGS, WORD DOCS – OH MY! WHICH ONE DO I USE?
Custom invitations are provided as both PDF or JPEG.
When choosing to print from a PDF or JPEG format, the most important thing to consider is HOW you plan to print the invites. PDF is best if you are going to print from home or take the file to a copy center. The PDF file provides 2 invites on an 8 1/2 x 11 page. Once printed, you just need to trim them with a paper cutter or straight edge. If printing from home, make sure you have plenty of ink on hand.
The JPEG format works best if you are printing from a photo lab like Target or Walgreens. The file we provide will essentially be a 5x7 picture that you have printed.
Name tag files are formatted for MicroSoft Word, so you can customize these files yourself. Please note that you must have Word; most all recent versions of Word will work.
All other files are PDF. Items can be cut out with a straight edge or paper-cutter. For toppers, a 2” punch of any shape you like works best. Most craft/hobby stores carry punches in their scrap-booking section.
CAN I CHANGE THE COLOR OR ADD CUSTOMIZATION TO A BANNER OR THANK YOU NOTE?
I recognize our customers have discerning tastes and lots of creativity of their own, so I want to accommodate special requests whenever possible. The special request listing – which can be found in the Special Request shop section – will need to be purchased along with the item. I am often able to accommodate all reasonable special requests; however, to make sure I can meet your request within your desired timing, please send me a convo or email BEFORE you order the listing.
WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR THESE CHANGES:
Sassy Party Designs offers two types of printable files: 1) customizable files -- invitations, toppers, wrappers, signs); and 2) non-custom files -- thank you cards, banners.
The files are priced based on standard labor involved to complete your order. Anytime I have to adjust one of our existing designs above and beyond the usual – whether making a color change, or adding wording to a non-custom file – I have to account for that extra time. It's actually quite affordable considering most designers charge ~ $75/hour.
DO YOU SELL ENVELOPES?
You'll need to purchase envelopes from your local party or office store. The envelope type is specified in the listing info.
WHY DOES THE COLOR LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THE LISTING?
All computer monitors are different in how they display color. Mobile phones are especially deceiving! Since our files are PDFs or JPEGs, color shouldn’t shift within the electronic file itself. Always print a sample when looking at color. Of course – you guessed it – home-based printers also vary greatly. If you’re not satisfied, please contact me.
