I purchased one of these giant squids as a graduation present for my daughter. Leanne did an unbelievable job on it .... the workmanship was beautiful. If it were possible to give this item 10 stars I would!!!
I am the designer, the pattern cutter, the seamstress, and the business genius (joke!) behind Studio Arethusa. My given name is Leanne, though many know me by my middle name and creative alter ego, Arethusa. I'd love to work with you on a custom design, so send me a message and let me know what you're dreaming of!
Here you will find my Sci fi / Horror stuff, and just general geekery.
If you're looking for Sherlock, LOVE, Disgruntled Owl, or the cute/sweet stuff, check out my original shop www.etsy.com/shop/DancingArethusa
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
- Money Order
- Other Method
If you have a preferred payment method that is not covered here, convo me and I may be able to accommodate you. I have a Square and a Dwolla account, and am always interested in what other alternatives are out there, especially methods that are easy for my international friends to use.
Since I am based in Virginia, I am required by law to collect 5.3% sale tax from anyone in this state. It will automatically be added at checkout. I am sorry about that!
If you desire a different shipping method, contact me and we will work something out. If you desire postal insurance to protect your package, please message me before you pay and I will add it to your shipping costs.
Please note that if you are outside the United States, your package reaches you only after passing through the hands of the kindly customs officials on your side of the border. Sometimes they want a bit of extra money from you, and sometimes they like to hold onto your package and admire it for a time. So far they have been kind to us, and I hope that your experience with them is positive! If they do take extra care with your package, I hope that you won't hold it against Saucy Arethusa!
I reuse materials for shipping as much as possible to reduce my shops impact on the planet. I am lucky to have access to a local print shop's overruns and bloopers, so the cardstock and envelopes I use may have some printing on the back. Once you receive your package, it's your turn! Please reuse or recycle. Thanks!
