Unique and beautiful. Custom length was delivered as ordered. The install was easy and they give our bathroom remodel the character that couldn't be found with box store fixtures. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was for a longer than expected ship date and a missing collar screw. Both of these issues were addressed when Kristen was contacted.

Original Designs from New Orleans Natives

Founded in April of 2012, Sazerac Stitches started as an idea to get noticed and find friends in the crowds at Jazzfest in New Orleans. Owners Matt & Kirsten came up with a mustache flag design that was bold enough to be seen in any direction. Since then, Sazerac Stiches has evolved to include locally sourced materials such as vintage laces picked up at estate sales, burlap coffee sacks used by a New Orleans coffee roasting company, and old new orleans furniture and decor.

It is our goal to create and make items that you will love and use for a long time. I put a great deal of time and effort in to my pieces to ensure your satisfaction; however should you receive an item you do not like, please convo me to discuss if a return is available for your item. Some very large items or items that are too cost-prohibitive to send repeatedly may not be returned. Please convo me prior to purchasing. It's our goal to make this an easy and pleasant experience for all.

(A) SHIPPING CARRIERS
UPS, United State Postal Service, & Fed Ex. Domestic shipments generally have a 1-5 business day transit it.


(B) LEAD TIMES & RUSH ORDER REQUESTS:
1. Lead Times:
Lead times for fixtures are listed under the "shipping and policies tab" and vary for each item. Lead times listed are all estimates. Some items ship faster, some may end up shipping later than estimated. Contact Kirsten if you have a deadline.

2. Rush Order Requests:
Contact Kirsten to find out if your rush order request can be accommodated. Rush fees may apply and range from $20-100 depending on quantity and complexity.


(C) EXPEDITED SHIPPING:
Please contact Kirsten to find out if expedited shipping is available prior to purchase. It may not be available for all items


(D) INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Sazerac Stitches only ships to the United States, Canada, and Mexico because these three countries have similar wiring/voltage requirements. I cannot test my lights to see if they meet Euro or Asian standards at this time.


(E) LOSS AND DAMAGE IN SHIPMENT:
If you suspect your item has been damaged in transit (e.g. it is dented, misaligned, broken, etc), contact Kirsten within 28 days of receipt. When you contact Kirsten, please include (1) at least 2 clear photos of the damage and (2) your telephone number. Shipping carrier insurance is only good for 30 days. Reports of damage made after 28 days from receipt cannot be accommodated.

(F) TRACKING NUMBERS
Tracking numbers will be provided for all purchases. Shipping labels may be generated 1-7 days prior to the actual shipping dated. Contact Kirsten with any questions.

(G) LOCAL ORDERS / PICKUP AVAILABILITY
Orders placed by Louisiana residents and/or people that will be travelling to Louisiana can having shipping charges deducted. However, a drop off fee or "meet fee" may apply. Please contact Kirsten for details.
Refunds and Exchanges

(A) CANCELLATION REQUESTS
Cancellation requests can be accommodated if made within 7 days of ordering a fixture only.


(B) GENERAL RULE REGARDING REFUNDS:
All orders are non-refundable and non-returnable. Everything is final sale.


(C) EXCEPTIONS TO THE GENERAL RULE:
Refunds are only available in the following two instances:
(1) the item was damaged in transit or
(2) the item is defective
Both issues have a preferred remedy of replacement. For additional information, please contact Kirsten with 28 days of receiving the item.


(D) DAMAGED AND DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Please see section (C).


(E) WIRE TAMPERING AND/OR ALTERATION
Items that are reported as defective will not be replaced if there has been any wiring tampering and/or alteration. Do not take it upon yourself to (1) unscrew components of the fixture, (2) inspect or adjust the wiring, or (3) permit even a licensed electrician to inspect or adjust the wiring. If (1)-(3) occurs, the item will not be replace and a refund minus all shipping costs will be issued.

(A) DISCOUNTS
Multi-item orders may be subject to discount if they are over $500. Please contact Kirsten for additional information. Trade discounts may be available upon request.


(B) COMMUNICATION:
Due to the volume of orders and messages, seller communication within 24 hours is not guaranteed. Delayed communication may occur during the following time periods:

- April 25 - May 13, 2016
- November 28 - Dec 16, 2016


(C) WHOLESALE ORDERS:

(D) METAL FINISHES
At this time, the only metal finishes available are the following:

(1) raw brass:
Raw brass is unlaquered, unpolished brass that is not altered in any way prior to shipment. This means that the brass may have residue from the machining processes used to create the piece of hardware. This can be cleaned using brasso or similar cleaning formulas suited for brass.

(2) chrome:
Chrome components are composed of brass or steel plated parts that have been plated. Chrome finishes can be cleaned using a buffing cloth. I do not recommend using chemicals to clean chrome fixtures

(3) raw steel
This is non coated, non-treated form of steel. As such, it can rust if exposed to damp environments. Rust can be treated by using fine-grade sandpaper (e.g. 2000 grit) and it can be prevented through the application of wax. I recommend using Renaissance wax, which is available online through retailers such as Amazon.

(4) black and other colors
These finishes are achieved through the use of metal priming and enamel painting.
