Vor ein paar Jahren war ich knapp bei Kasse und es war sehr kalt. Ich würde öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nehmen und ständig versehentlich mein dringend benötigtes Zubehör im Bus lassen. Wenn Sie jemals mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gefahren sind, dann wissen Sie, dass Sie, sobald Sie es verlassen, 99% der Zeit es nie wieder sehen werden. Ich fand mich immer wieder dabei, Geld für Accessoires auszugeben, um mich warm zu halten, und dann dämmerte es mir ... Warum finde ich nicht heraus, wie ich diese Dinge selbst herstellen kann? Ich hatte kein Geld, um einen Strick- oder Häkelkurs zu bezahlen, noch konnte ich es mir leisten, ein Buch zu kaufen. Ich begann damit, in die Buchhandlungen zu gehen und kostenlose Videos online anzusehen, ich schaute durch Bücher im Laden und ich suchte online, um neue Stiche zu lernen. Ich fand das billigste Garn, das ich zum Üben finden konnte, und das einzige, was ich damals machen konnte, waren Schals. Um ehrlich zu sein, war alles am Anfang hässlich für mich... Ich würde nicht tot darin erwischt werden :-). Ich wurde nach ein paar Monaten entmutigt und legte es für fast 9 Monate ab. Dann sah ich ein Buch, das ein Freund las, in diesem Buch waren all diese Leute, die alles für sich selbst gemacht und gebaut haben. Sie hatten nie Maschinen oder Schulen wie wir. Sie bauten ihre eigenen Häuser, stellten ihre eigenen handgefertigten Teppiche und Vasen her und alles, was sie hatten, war handgefertigt. Das Buch hat mich wirklich inspiriert, also habe ich mein Handwerk wieder aufgegriffen und jetzt kreiere ich meine eigenen Designs und Muster.

Ich liebe, was ich tue, ich kann es jeden Tag tun. Ich hoffe, Sie genießen es, meine Artikel genauso zu tragen, wie ich es genieße, sie zu kreieren.

A few years ago I was short on funds and it was very cold out. I would take public transportation and constantly accidentally leave my much needed accessories on the bus. If you've ever ridden public transportation then you know that once you leave it, 99% of the time you will never see it again. I kept finding myself spending money on accessories to keep warm, and then it dawned on me...Why don't I figure out how to make these things myself? I did not have any money to pay for a knitting or crochet class nor could I afford to buy a book. I started out by going into the book stores and watching free videos online, I would look through books in the store and I would look online to learn new stitches. I found the cheapest yarn I could find to practice with and the only thing I could make at the time were scarves. To be honest, everything in the beginning was ugly to me...I wouldn't be caught dead in it :-). I became discouraged after a few months and I put it down for almost 9 months. Then I saw a book that a friend was reading, in this book were all of these people that made and built everything for themselves. They never had machines or schools like we have. They built their own houses, made their own handmade rugs and vases, and every single thing they had was handmade. The book really inspired me, so I picked my craft back up and now I create my own designs and patterns.

I love what I do, I can do it every single day. I hope you enjoy wearing my items as much as I enjoy creating them.
