I strive to perfect heirloom quality functional artwork through meticulous attention to detail and rustic elegance.

I derive great pleasure from the artistic freedom that woodworking allows me. It is by far the most gratifying "job" that I undertake. My happiness is compounded by the sheer joy and pleasure that my customers share with me after receiving their purchases.
I began woodworking in 1996. I attended local craft shows and was soon invited to larger art shows all over the United States. With custom orders and traveling, the "hobby" turned into a full time job! The trouble was, I had full time job with the sawmill and people who depended on me. I had to make a choice and chose to eliminate traveling to shows while still accepting custom orders.
I now am ready to get back to the artwork that I love on a consistent basis and sales through the internet is a new step for me.
I have a cedar sawmill and purchase eastern red cedar logs and mill them myself. I choose my logs and lumber for my wood shop based on quality and uniqueness. Each of my creations is a one-of-a-kind piece with the pleasing natural aroma of eastern red cedar, the feel of silky smooth lines and the awe of natural beauty. This is rustic elegance in its purest form. You will be amazed at how wonderful it feels as your hands travel along its winding grooves, top to sides and around again.
Each work is meticulously sanded, sealed and finished in a durable clear vinyl lacquer.
My works become the center of attention and are the perfect addition to any collection. They make perfect gifts for people who appreciate real wood and good old fashioned quality, or for yourself. You deserve the best!
Thank you so much for your time and consideration! Kim Fogleson

I began woodworking in 1996 after a sawmill accident (severed fingers, YIKES!) left me in need of physical therapy. I began working with wood and found a "job" that I really love! By the way, the fingers recovered nicely!
