Great scarf! Excellent combination of muted blue tones. Knitting is of high quality. The label and the long fringe finish it nicely.

About

We're geek girls who make the things we covet.

I started SciFiKnits as a way to make what my grandmother would call "pin money". Along the way, my daughters, Alex and Andie, have been the brains (and fingers) behind some of our great designs, like Zombie dolls, Sherlock inspired scarves and sushi decor. We three love working together to make products for geeks like us.

Who's behind SciFiKnits? I'm Sandre' and my partners are Andie and Alex. We're the geeks who camp out for 24 hours for the release of the latest console, playing hackysack with our fellow geeks to pass the time, we dress like Sailor Scouts for A-Kon and stand in the rain to be the first movie-goers to see "The Hobbit". We play "Fat Princess", watch "Dr. Who" with our geek friends and geek kids, and play "D & D" and "Masquerade" because we're geeks and proud of it. Our friends are voice talents for shows like "Blue Seed" and we are fierce J.J. Abrams and Joss Whedon fans -- we are leaves on the wind, watch us soar!

Fortunately, we're also creative types with backgrounds in theatrical design and fine arts, so we use our mad knitting, crochet and needle working skills to express our inner geekness and create great whimsical gifts for other geeks that are handcrafted with quality materials and always made with a sense of fun and lots of love.

We'll be adding more products on a regular basis so don't forget to stop by often to see what else we come up with. As Mike Myers would say, "Silly is very underrated," so we'll keep using our knitting needles and our creativity to bring you as much of it as we can.
