i loved how fast the shoes Shipped! but Was a little upset about how expensive they are, because i could only afford to buy one pair for a friend and im expecting twins, and would have loved to by my own twins some. I just cant bring my self to spend 75$ on 3 pair of baby booties they will only wear for a couple weeks.

“You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” ― Maya Angelou
Scooter Booties was started in 2012, and began with my love for fabric and textiles....so many beautiful prints, colors, textures, smells.....(yes, I smell fabric...don't judge)......it's all just so glorious. Some of my happiest days are spent shopping for fabric. I can proudly say that I am a fabric addict. I can also say that I could very happily sit at a sewing machine for the next 50 years and never tire of it. Ever. The actual "baby shoe" part of the equation came into play after I gave a pair of booties to a friend at her baby shower, and they were a huge hit. My original pattern has been significantly tweaked, altered, and improved since then, but it was a fantastic starting point to the final product, and it is still my foundation for any new styles that I can dream up.
I made my first Etsy sale on my 25th birthday, just a few weeks after listing the first pair, and I knew (cue the inspirational music) that I COULD do something that I love AND make a living doing it. I could share my passion and my creations with others, and while creating teeny-tiny shoes won't change lives, it can put a smile on someone's face and warm up some little toes.
I ran towards my goal full force, and Scooter Booties grew very quickly in a short amount of time. Before I knew it, I was quitting my day job to keep up. I have grown with my business and learned so many things about being a business owner and entrepreneur. I have great respect for anyone who can make something out of nothing. It takes a lot of hard work, patience, dedication, an open mind, and the ability to pat yourself on the back when you succeed, but also to pick yourself back up and keep going when you don't.
Scooter Booties is my pride, my source of energy, and my favorite creative outlet.
I hope that it will never stop growing, and I hope that I will never stop learning.

Once the post office has received your package, I have no control over how long delivery will take. Packaged shipped to US addresses are usually delivered within 2-4 business days of shipment, but sometimes packages can take longer. The post office does not consider a package lost until 3 weeks have passed from date of acceptance. If your tracking shows that it is stuck somewhere, and has not been delivered for over 3 weeks, please contact me and we can go from there.
Please be aware your country may charge additional customs duty and/or import taxes.
Please also be aware that as the seller, I do not pay for any applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT) or import consumption taxes charged to you by your country.
The recipient of the merchandise will be required to pay the duty or VAT upon delivery. Due to import duty valuation adjustments and currency valuations, I am unable to provide an estimate for duty or VAT.
International shipping can take up to 6 weeks from date of acceptance, but most of my international customers report 2-3 week averages. If you have not received your package with 6 weeks of the acceptance date, please contact me.
FOR BOTH U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
Tracking is included with every purchase. If you claim that a package was not received, but the tracking # states it was delivered, I am not responsible for replacing the item. If this happens, please check with your neighbors and other family members in your household to see if they saw or picked up a package. In the event that no one has it, my suggestion would be to speak with your mail carrier/post office directly, or file a police report for stolen property.
