Hi there—it's nice to meet you! My name is Katie and I want to welcome you to Scott Street Paper!
I founded Scott Street Paper as a way to bring on-trend, feminine design to those that have something exciting and special to celebrate in their lives—without breaking the bank. My business started when I began doing one-off design projects like Bridal Shower Invites, Wedding Maps, custom Save the Dates, and more for friends, family, and coworkers. After realizing how much joy it brought me to spend my time and talent to be apart of someone's special event, I knew I wanted to expand my services to a wider audience. Thus, Scott Street Paper was born one chilly spring night with a glass of Pinot Grigio in-hand.
In my free time—when I am not working on this Etsy shop!—I write the popular DC lifestyle blog, A Touch of Teal. Founded in 2014, my site regularly averages 10,000+ pageviews a month, has 9,000+ followers on social media, and has allowed me to create content for national brands like Hallmark, The New York Times, Kendra Scott, Marriott Autograph Hotels, Dermalogica, Izze, IT Cosmetics, Aveda, Uncommon Goods, and more. I look forward to working with you and am ALWAYS happy to answer any questions or discuss a custom project. Shoot me an email at katie [!at] atouchofteal.com.

Frequently asked questions

Unless specified otherwise on the individual listing or discussed as a custom edit/project, all Invitations and Save the Dates are sized to 5" x 7" and will fit an A7 envelope.
What are your business hours?
I work full time, so expect a response from me between 7 - 11 pm EST M-F or on Saturday/Sunday 10 am - 6 pm EST. nquiries will always be answered within 2 business days and if you need to contact me, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What file type will I receive?
All files are provided in high-resolution PDF format, ready for printing with any reputable local print shop. I can also make adjustments to any marks and bleeds based on your printer's specifications.
Are files editable?
No, all designs are completed and edited by Scott Street Paper and are not editable by the client or anyone else; instead they are sent over as PDFs. This is done in order to protect Scott Street Paper's designs and ensure you receive a file that is high-quality regarding the design itself as well as print setup. For information on revisions and edits, please see individual listings.
Spelling and Grammar - Reviewing and Approving Your Proofs
Please ensure you carefully review all proofs for spelling and grammar errors before approving them; having a second set of eyes to review them for you is strongly recommended. Scott Street Paper is not responsible for any spelling or grammar errors that remain after you have approved your final proof. The design software used does not contain spellcheck and in order to spend your valuable time ensuring your design is perfect, Scott Street Paper asks that you pay special attention to grammar and spelling when approving a proof. Thank you for playing a helpful role in ensuring your design is 100% perfect!
Custom Designs Becoming Listings
Any design that is created may become a listing that is available for others to purchase. This allows clients the benefit of bringing their custom ideas to life for a practical price.
Designs do not always become listings, but Scott Street Paper reserves the rights to all designs and the use thereof unless otherwise specified. If you are interested in owning the rights to a custom design, please submit a detailed inquiry to email@example.com for a project proposal geared towards your vision!
