“Beauty is truth, truth beauty,"--that is all
Ye know on earth- John Keats “Ode on a Grecian Urn”

I have always been drawn to beautiful things. That’s probably a result of my father’s influence since he is an aficionado of art and antiques, anything lovely and fine. He especially loved small items, things that could fit on a shelf or on a desk, or best yet, in my mother’s jewelry box. On special occasions, my dad would take me to his favorite antique haunt where he would allow me to pick out my mom’s next gift. My “payment” was usually some bauble for myself, much more modest, of course. So began my interest in jewelry. I loved receiving jewelry, but I always was interested in the process, how the gold or silver became the bracelet on my wrist. But I thought I could never create jewelry because I didn’t think I had the skills, materials, or tools. About ten years ago I decided I would try creating jewelry for others and myself by starting with wire working and beading, eventually moving on to metal work. I characterize my style as rustic, organic, abstract, or geometric depending on my mood, using copper, silver, and brass, and semiprecious gemstone beads. To spice things up a bit, I’ll create in metal or polymer clay. I have a day job as a science teacher, so have always felt the need for artistic expression, a world away from my regimented schedule.

Payment
PayPal and money orders are the only forms of payment I accept at this time. All transactions are to be in US dollars. Payment must be made in full and have cleared before the item is shipped. NYS residents must pay tax based on your location.

*********IMPORTANT INFO FOR NEW YORK STATE RESIDENTS******:NYS residents must pay tax (item +shipping) based on your location. Since Etsy does not provide a check out system that includes tax, I respectfully request that all NEW YORK STATE residents WAIT for me to send them a revised invoice from PayPal that includes the tax and do not pay immediately. All others can pay immediately if desired.

I would appreciate payment within one week please.

If you purchase something and decide later you don’t want the item, please let me know and I will cancel the transaction. I will NOT leave negative feedback if you cancel the transaction, but I WILL leave negative feedback for buyers who don't pay and don't communicate to me. Only fair, right?

Please be ever so kind and give me positive feedback if you think I deserved it ;)
Shipping
All jewelry items will be wrapped in handmade packaging and shipped in a small box.

Jewelry Shipping info: Domestic shipping (US First Class)is FREE. Orders sent to Canada and Mexico: $11.45 (International Priority Mail) Everywhere else: $13.45 (International Priority Mail).

If you order another item and it can fit inside the same package, I will send you the second item free, but it has to be bought at the same time as the first or within a few days so I don't ship out the first package. Please let me know if you wish to combine shipping ASAP so you do not pay for another box! If the items cannot fit in one box, then you will pay the full price of another box/envelope. I usually ship every few days, not every day.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds accepted within 1 week if item damaged or not suitable in some other way. Please explain to me what the problem is by emailing me or starting a convo. Perhaps I can fix the issue, for example, if a jump ring comes detached. When returning an item to me, the buyer pays shipping. Any returned items must be returned in their original packaging or similar and must be mailed USPS.
Insurance: I will purchase shipping insurance on items over $100 and will include it in the shipping cost.
Additional policies and FAQs
I will offer 10% discounts to people ordering several items at once. Email me or start a convo with me to let me know you intend to order several pieces at the same time so I can apply your discount.

I leave feedback after items have been paid.

I reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone with a history of negative feedback or a history of non-payment or other negative behavior on Etsy.
