What a delightful surprise, almost too pretty to open. A charming assortment of lace pieces perfect for my crazy quilt stocking project and many other projects I want to add a tad of elegance too. THANK YOU and I will be ordering again.

I'm working on a couple different junk journals. If Cathy has a kit that fits my theme, I snatch it up! She has an amazing talent for creating one of a kind packages of ephemera and embellishments. You can tell she takes time to purposefully choose every element. It makes them extra special! She packages all the pieces so lovely and neatly. Every item coordinates but remains entirely unique. There's plenty of variety too. These can be used for all sorts of projects. I love that I get all the ephemera and embellishments in one kit, instead of searching for items separately. I've bought several of Cathy's kits and enjoy going through each one. There is just so much detail to look at, vibrant colors, gorgeous textures to touch and little pieces of treasure. It's like opening the best present a crafter could get!

Cathy's kits have a little bit of everything a crafter would want in a single kit. Actually, it's not a little, there's A LOT!! There are packages of items within packages. Each one holds beautiful things for your crafts. Some are so lovely, I don't want to use them. There are so many different treasures, you could easily make a beautiful journal using just this kit. All the elements come together without being repetitively matching like the mass produced kits from scrapbook companies. If you need a kit that has all the ephemera and embellishments; these kits are perfect for you!

Oh my, what a wonderful package of vintage papers! I'm working on multiple junk journals and these are what I want to add for some of the journaling pages. There is writing paper, ledgers, graph paper, Glassine paper, lined address book pages and so much more! Cathy always packages her items so neatly with the perfect ribbon or twine. It's like receiving a gift! Everything arrives quickly. As a customer who has made several purchases, this is the place for ephemera packs full of vintage goodness!

About

The treasure hunt is on for vintage findings!

I opened my shop Scrappybird in the spring of 2012 with the idea of creating and selling items for scrapbooking. I love the idea of preserving memories for the future and have been doing so for years. During the last two years my shop has slowly evolved, which is a wonderful thing, it is now a mix of old and new merchandise which can be used to complement any paper project and mixed media. I sell vintage findings such as ephemera, buttons and lace most of which I find at estate sales. Going to these sales has given me the appreciation of knowing where these items come from and their story. It takes a long time and persistence to dig, find and bargain to bring home a wonderful selection of goods. I must admit I’m addicted to the sale and always look forward to searching for treasures.

My inspiration and journey in this life has been a gifted one. I’m loved by my husband of 35 years and have a wonderful son, extended family and friends. I have great support that allows me to spend time in my studio, to imagine and explore all the great possibilities of these found items from the past so that they can be used to preserve memories for the future.

What I want my customer to know is that I take great pride in assembling and photographing my merchandise for sale and I always go the extra length to provide a well wrapped and packaged item. There are many sites on Etsy and I really appreciate those who stop by and buy from me. Because I care for every item leaving my studio, you can always expect a professional appearance to your purchase. My reviews speak to the level of my packaging which shows I take great care of every item large or small.
