Another birthday present to myself. Tell your friends and family you want ETSY gift certificates. This is a fun combo of doo dads.

This kit goes nicely with all the cards I make for veterans each year. A birthday present to myself.

A rose is a rose...and this kit has darling pictures and ephemera to keep you occupied. Bought one for my girlfriend for her birthday and then got this one for myself!! Well worth the money and it goes without saying that Scrappy Bird is the fastest shipper in the Etsy community.

About

The treasure hunt is on for vintage findings!

I opened my shop Scrappybird in the spring of 2012 with the idea of creating and selling items for scrapbooking. I love the idea of preserving memories for the future and have been doing so for years. During the last two years my shop has slowly evolved, which is a wonderful thing, it is now a mix of old and new merchandise which can be used to complement any paper project and mixed media. I sell vintage findings such as ephemera, buttons and lace most of which I find at estate sales. Going to these sales has given me the appreciation of knowing where these items come from and their story. It takes a long time and persistence to dig, find and bargain to bring home a wonderful selection of goods. I must admit I’m addicted to the sale and always look forward to searching for treasures.

My inspiration and journey in this life has been a gifted one. I’m loved by my husband of 35 years and have a wonderful son, extended family and friends. I have great support that allows me to spend time in my studio, to imagine and explore all the great possibilities of these found items from the past so that they can be used to preserve memories for the future.

What I want my customer to know is that I take great pride in assembling and photographing my merchandise for sale and I always go the extra length to provide a well wrapped and packaged item. There are many sites on Etsy and I really appreciate those who stop by and buy from me. Because I care for every item leaving my studio, you can always expect a professional appearance to your purchase. My reviews speak to the level of my packaging which shows I take great care of every item large or small.
