Beautiful leatherwork, lovely design! The seller worked with me to make sure I was happy with my custom design. I got the Viking wolf design, black on red leather. The only complaint that I have is that the red coloring wasn't super even-- but that was actually a bit of a bonus because we're going to use it as part of a Mad Max type post apocalyptic Viking look.

Not impressed with it. Run in the leather and random translation. Contacted the seller...

About

The birth of a legendary armory...

... or something like that. A Thousand Rasps, formerly known as Screaming North Leatherwork, had humble beginnings in 2010, when it was done on the side while I was in college. Since then it has become the focal point of my life.

Payment
I accept payment through Paypal or credit card via direct checkout. I won't ship your item (or begin construction, if a custom order) until I receive payment.
Shipping
I ship via USPS. All items shipped within the US will have tracking. Insurance and priority upgrades are available when you check out.
Refunds and Exchanges
If an uninsured package is damaged in the mail, I can't refund you. If the damage is repairable, I'll fix it free of charge (provided you cover the shipping costs).

If you receive your order and it doesn't meet your expectations, please send me a note and we can work something out. I only offer full refunds and replacements within one month of the item's arrival unless we discuss something else beforehand. (If the order is a gift for some event in the future, for instance.) If you have any doubts about a listing, please send me a note and I'll try to clear it up. I'll be happy to provide additional images, information, and descriptions for you. I may not be able to provide refunds for items with personalized text (names, etc.).

If your item becomes damaged while you use it, I can still repair it for you. The repair price will depend on the cause and severity of the damage; many repairs will be free as long as you cover shipping costs. :) (You may also be able to find a local leathercrafter who can repair it for you.)
Additional policies and FAQs
If you have your eye on an item in my shop but want different colors or sizing, I can generally create a custom version for the listed price of the item. Fully custom items can be discussed too. Please allow several weeks to months for the construction of an item.

If you need the item by a specific date, PLEASE include a note in your order. I work on Etsy orders in between preparing for shows and conventions so there are often slow periods where I can't work on orders for a short while.

I do all my work in a house with two cats. Leather isn't likely to retain much cat dander, but it's something worth mentioning.

Please note that leatherwork is generally not precise. Stains, dyes, and finishes can streak or take to different cuts of leather differently. Each piece is wholly unique.

The vast majority of my supplies are purchased from Tandy Leather Factory and Springfield Leather. Unless otherwise noted, I use vegetable tanned cow leather.
