¿Cómo llegué hasta aquí? Bueno, en 2018 comencé a ver videos de Youtube de personas que hacen tablas de cortar de maderas exóticas, me sorprendió la variedad de maderas y colores disponibles. Probé esto y rápidamente pasé a girar los artículos en un torno, primero madera y luego en otros materiales. Mi pequeño taller ha sido equipado desde entonces, pero sigo usando el torno original de segunda mano que compré al principio.
Ahora me estoy centrando principalmente en bolígrafos personalizados (aún no están a la venta mientras perfecciono las habilidades).
Soy autodidacta, con la ayuda de muchos videos en línea y muchas personas amigables, de ideas afines.
Esto es en gran medida un pasatiempo para mí, cualquier artículo vendido me permite comprar materiales y herramientas más interesantes, pero en última instancia me gusta la idea de que las personas disfruten de algo que he hecho.
How did I get here? Well, in 2018 I started watching Youtube Videos of people making chopping boards out of exotic woods, I was amazed at the variety of woods and colours available. I gave this a try and quickly moved on to turning items on a lathe, first wood and then onto other materials. My small workshop has been equipped since then, but I am still using the original second hand lathe that I bought at the outset.
I am now primarily focussing on custom pens (not yet for sale whilst I perfect the skills).
I am self taught, with the help of many online videos and lots of friendly, like minded, people.
This is very much a hobby for me, any items sold allow me to purchase more interesting materials and tools, but ultimately I like the idea of people getting enjoyment out of something that I have made.
