I was already impressed by the seller's pleasant personality, and by how quickly the item arrived to me, but then to open the package and have the item be even more beautiful than pictures, I am a very happy customer! I make items using sea glass, sea shells, stained glass, natural and polished stones and beads!
My studio at our rural New Mexico home is full of my supplies. I have shelves with jars full of glass tiles, glass gems, and beads. One big cabinet is full of sheets of colorful stained glass. Smaller bins hold a huge supply of new and vintage beads. There are boxes full of stones, sea shells and sea glass I've picked up at beaches around the world. I have a stained glass cutting area, and a painting area.Another area by the windows is set up for photographing my finished items.
I start with a hand-painted base, or an up-cycled thrift shop find. I glue each piece of glass or tile on one at a time by hand, usually using a tweezers. I use dental picks to clean off excess glue. It's slow, painstaking work, but I love every minute of it! My items are mostly functional, but some are purely decorative. I adore adding beads to my creations. Some of them are covered with tiny seed beads! Sparkly beads are becoming my trademark.
My home is filled with vintage items. I am downsizing a bit and selling some of my vintage items in this shop. Many of them are sea or shell related.
I started the shop to have an outlet for my art. I am so thrilled to be sharing my art around the world, and I love knowing others are enjoying my work. :) Having this shop has made me excited to wake up every day and get to creating. I wish I'd opened my shop years earlier!

Welcome to Sea Mosaics! I've always been fascinated by art and the sea.I lived on a remote island in the mid-Pacific. Living by the sea made a huge change in my life. I began to love beachcombing for sea glass and started a sea shell collection.
