The kneeler was certainly built with care. Jim even reached out to verify Wood selection before the build. I couldn’t be happier with the design, build, shipping care, and quality of this kneeler. I’ll even say I was worried about my weight as I’m a very stalky guy at 280lbs but the kneeler holds me just fine with no real noticeable give in the kneeler. You won’t be disappointed. One note; this is real wood so don’t expect every plank to be perfect. The flaws are naturally occurring in the wood it’s self and is meant to bring out the true character of the wood. If you want perfectly cut selected lumber pieces hand trimmed, filled, and stained, this isn’t for you. Be prepared to spend 3-4x the amount you would have paid for this.

Incredibly well made, the best price I found, and you can feel the intention behind the craftsmanship. I’m absolutely floored by the attention to detail with the edges. The table fits together nicely and is sturdy. The wood chosen has a life to it and you can certainly feel a wabi-sabi with the way it flows and interacts. I will be using this as a desk as well as a table for many tea sessions. I hope to share many laughs, incredible conversationsand deep moments with this table. Thank you Jim for sharing your craft and gifts with us. This will be a heirloom piece for the rest of my life and hopefully any kin to come.

The prayer bench is beautiful! What a nice addition to my daily devotions.

Uneven staining, top of kneeler screwed into the left and right side split the wood. It seemed to have been packed well and shipped in a timely fashion but I'm not happy with the quality.

Shipped quickly. Very nice. Looks good in our kitchen and the black stain was the perfect color for our black stainless range.

I purchased a kneeler from Jim for my mom for Christmas! She wanted one and was pretty specific with what she thought she wanted, and Jim hit it right on the mark! She absolutely loves her kneeler, and it fits perfectly with her current furniture thanks to Jim’s help with all the specifics. Would 100% but from his Etsy shop again!
