Announcement    Christmas

Although we will continue to ship out up until 23rd we can’t guarantee that your order will arrive in time for Christmas due to postal delays in the UK. Any order placed after 16th will be shipped out via special delivery.

Shipping to the US and the Europe takes between 2-5 weeks at the moment with delays increasing the closer it is to Christmas.

I will do my best to get your orders shipped but I can not guarantee Christmas delivery. COVID has had an impact on shipping worldwide - please order as soon as possible if you are looking for Christmas gifts.

Coronavirus Update

Due the the UK being in lockdown and trying to social isolate I am limiting the amount of none essential travel. Therefore, the amount of times I am posting out will be dropping dramatically. Instead of every day, I’ll be limiting it to once or twice a week, combined this with disruption
to mailing services may mean delays on deliveries.

Please note all international orders are currently experiencing delays:

Some UK to US deliveries are experiencing slays of between 4-6 weeks.

Seaham Waves Studio creates handmade jewellery from sea glass.

The sea glass is collected from beaches along the North East of England's Coastline and transforms it into unique pieces of jewellery.

The glass featured in our jewellery is waste glass that has been smoothed and rounded by the force of the North Sea's wave action on the beach which results in smooth, frosted, pebble like stones which has been expertly drilled or set into unique settings, to create beautiful one of a kind pieces of eco-friendly, recycled jewellery.

We also now have a studio in the heart of Seaham the home of English Sea Glass where we have a range of gifts all handmade to fit in with our upcycled /recycled ethos.

Seaham Waves - small beginning to our very own studio

I started our shop a few years ago as a hobby, but due to our passion for the coast and for sea glass it has led to us taking it further and is now my full time occupation.

I started collecting Sea Glass from an early age but became more focused in collecting sea glass in the last 10 years as it became a favourite family activity.

I started out making jewellery with little skills but have developed them through time, by taking tutorials and researching techniques.

Our etsy store and facebook page are now the core of our business and over time have become very popular.

We opened our first Bricks and Mortar Studio/Shop in July 2013 this year.

We have appeared in several tv programmes and was featured on BBC Countryfile.

As our business has grown so has demand, in the summer of 2018 we took over a neighbouring retail unit which means we now have a bigger retail space and studio area.
