Orders from our sale are taking a little longer to get out that anticipated due to sheer volume.

I’m working on getting them out as soon as possible but I’m a day or two behind at the moment. Thanks for your patience.

Seaham Waves Studio creates handmade jewellery from sea glass.

The sea glass is collected from beaches along the North East of England's Coastline and transforms it into unique pieces of jewellery.

The glass featured in our jewellery is waste glass that has been smoothed and rounded by the force of the North Sea's wave action on the beach which results in smooth, frosted, pebble like stones which has been expertly drilled or set into unique settings, to create beautiful one of a kind pieces of eco-friendly, recycled jewellery.

We also now have a studio in the heart of Seaham the home of English Sea Glass where we have a range of gifts all handmade to fit in with our upcycled /recycled ethos.

You could also follow us on twitter @seahamwaves or facebook at http://www.facebook.com/seahamwavesjewellery

Many Thanks

About

Seaham Waves - small beginning to our very own studio

I started our shop a few years ago as a hobby, but due to our passion for the coast and for sea glass it has led to us taking it further and is now my full time occupation.

I started collecting Sea Glass from an early age but became more focused in collecting sea glass in the last 10 years as it became a favourite family activity.

I started out making jewellery with little skills but have developed them through time, by taking tutorials and researching techniques.

Our etsy store and facebook page are now the core of our business and over time have become very popular.

We opened our first Bricks and Mortar Studio/Shop in July 2013 this year.

We have appeared in several tv programmes and was featured on BBC Countryfile.

As our business has grown so has demand, in the summer of 2018 we took over a neighbouring retail unit which means we now have a bigger retail space and studio area.
