Hello!

I am Tisha, the designer of the handmade items on Seashell Decor By Tisha. I started this shop because I fell in love with crafting with seashells, and in time, wanted to share my creations.

It is a lovely hobby, especially fulfilling after I found myself retired from teaching, as well as alone in the house after losing my precious 15-year-old Yorkie, Zoey. My husband, Tony, and I eventually adopted another Yorkie, Anney. So, I split my time between caring for her, an absolute joy, and making my seashell decor. As Anney matured, she began sitting at my feet as I worked--allowing me to to enjoy two of my passions at the same time!

I started with large seashell flowers that I made from seashells like abalones and scallops, then smaller flowers from cut seashells. I moved to large mirrors, as well as novelties like seashell wind chimes and "little seas" using clam shells filled with blue resin. Then I added my handmade poly mesh wreaths that I embellish with large seashells and/or seashell flowers. I entered my items in two contests and was honored to have placed.
