The shop is going be open Friday thru Monday for now.

I was thrilled to see a box from the Heat Pac company on my porch...unpacked it to find 10 🙄 Heat Pacs.....the rest should be here just in time for Summer😣
The good news is...there is a break in the freezing temps in the Northeast so those packages that have been waiting are either shipped, or shipping today and tomorrow morning. I am going to put the shop on "vacation" soon for about a week.....PLEASE do not freak out😜 It has been a ROUGH year but I am still standing and finally found some competent help.
I have Common, Poke, Tuberosa, Aquatic, and Swamp Native Milkweeds growing beautifully and some are listed...they will be listed as they get large enough to ship.
If I could personally thank every single person who has patiently waited for their flowers this past year....I would be on your doorstep😘
Last year, at the beginning of the Pandemic, I NEVER imagined the rest of year would turn out the way it did....problems with the Post Office have not helped. I am grateful and very well aware how fortunate I am to still be in business. Thank you😘😘
The good news...native milkweeds are transplanted and looking good😁 Poke, Common, Aquatic, and Swamp should be ready for Spring.
Jan. 15, 2021 Well, we made it thru 2020🤗 but my Heat Pacs are on backorder so shipping to states with freezing temps are going to wait for Heat Pacs. I have 150 Heat Pacs on order, they will ship them to me in batches of 25 as soon as they have some.
Dec 16, 2020 I stopped shipping on Dec. 14 and will resume shipping after Christmas. All the shippers are overwhelmed and packages are not arriving in a timely manner. It has been a year like no other. Back in early March when the craziness started....I NEVER even considered that 10 months later, life would not be back to "normal". I am grateful to be here and certainly appreciate everyone who has purchased plants and had to put up with delays.....unprecedented is the word that sums up the year 2020. Looking forward to Spring 2021 and better days ahead. Any question about an order please message me thru Etsy.

5 out of 5 starsI purchased two of these. These plants traveled very, very far and in heat and they still made it. Well-established root system for one and a decent root system for the other. Right now they are recovering from the travel. I am hoping to add pictures once they adjust.

5 out of 5 starsThis is my second time purchasing these plants from this seller. She packs the plants very well and the plants are in great condition with healthy leaves and lots of roots. The seller also responds to questions and concerns in a timely manner. (Photo shows 6, 10”-12” tall milkweed plants and one larger milkweed plant I ordered at the same time planted in 7 gallon grow bags.)

Monarchs in our garden
ALWAYS ABSOLUTELY 100% PESTICIDE FREE
We do this for the Monarchs ( and all the other butterflies too)🤗
In the Summer of 2017 I bought some milkweed for my butterfly garden and all my caterpillars were dead within hours.
It was heartbreaking and frustrating because where I bought them had a huge sign for “butterfly plants” but yet, they had been sprayed with pesticide.
I figured if I had this problem then others must encounter the same issue.
So I grew some milkweed from seeds, kept it screened in so it didn’t all get eaten immediately and listed it in my Etsy shop.
(if you scroll thru the listings, the shop was originally fairy houses and birdhouses I made...and they are cute!)
Well, I quickly sold out and you can’t just “make” milkweed so that winter we planted over 5000 seeds and by Spring 2018 we had a great supply of milkweed. Summer 2018 was CRAZY....good crazy!
So now, 2019 we are ALL IN. Being in South Florida, we can grow milkweed all year long....and we do.
Along with the milkweed, nectar plants are essential. What does the pesticide used on plants do to the butterflies and bees that survive on the nectar? I don’t want to know....
We have teamed up with a grower who has been growing ONLY organic and pesticide free plants for 25 years. He is helping me grow native milkweeds along with a great selection of nectar plants and vines.
Please, feel free to email me if you have any questions. I am more than happy to help....and THANK YOU.
