Announcement   This business defines my heart when it comes to creating art and serving others. For years I have been dreaming about selling my work in order to help similar artists around the world. My business model is to shop locally and support globally, so all of my yarns and items are made from locally sourced products whenever possible.

The Seattle Spinner shop is set up to help globally, so whenever you purchase an item, I will donate 10% of the revenue to an organization called Awamaki in Ollantaytambo, Peru which supports women fiber/textile artists and alpaca farmers in Peru.

I will post updates on my Instagram feed so that people know how much money has been raised for this organization. Awamaki has very sound and sustainable long term development practices, and I'm honored to be able to support them through my craft.

Awamaki mission statement:
Awamaki collaborates with the greater Ollantaytambo community to create economic opportunities and improve social well-being.
