Land and Sea Botanically Inspired Arts & Crafts
I have always loved to create art with materials found in nature. It's my way of capturing and preserving the beauty of outdoors and bringing it inside my home. When my two daughters were little, we had a flower bed filled with all kinds of flowers... pansies, poppies, roses and cosmos. Together, we would glue the flowers onto glass jars and bottles to create pencil holders and vases. Later, I expanded my work to include pressed seaweed and seashells and hence, SeaweedBotanicalArt was born.
