Who are We?

Second Nature Online has been running for over twelve years. We are based in the small Scottish town of Dumfries and our premises are home to six staff and more products than we ever meant to stock!

We buy from our favourite suppliers in the UK but we also design and import our own ethical, eco-friendly home textiles. Our own products carry the registered Second Nature Online brand and we are also a licensed GoodWeave importer and retailer.

The business has its own website but we also have shops on other platforms (such as Etsy) We receive around 2000 orders a month and we despatch to customers all over the world.

    Karen started the business in her spare room and is still wondering how it ended up growing into a warehouse. She is a perfectionist control freak which is a terrible mix for her - but great for our customers.

    Clayton is a full time firefighter and works every day off with Karen - which kinda means that he doesn't get any days off...

    General Manager

    Brian has worked everywhere but wants to see out his days in Second Nature Online which is great for the team. His favourite saying is "I can tell by your face that ......"

    Business Administrator

    Neil has a genuine passion for admin which means he will never be allowed to leave. He stashes snacks around the office and we know where they are.

    Dave is a true gentleman but we've never been able to accept how milky he takes his tea.

    Warehouse Assistant

    Kenny is also an ex firefighter. He is a fixer and builder of pretty much everything - the warehouse singer and knows how to bring a proper packed lunch to work.

Do you do International Shipping?

International purchases may give rise to an additional postage charge. It is not possible to set a flat fee since this will depend on the weight and destination of the order.
